I believe he means when it's best to use TWS vs RWS vs other modes. For me TWS is for multiple position known hostiles while RWS is for long range searching.
I think it's a subjective judgment as to when to use RWS and when to use TWS. The important thing is to understand the strengths and weaknesses of both and find an approach that works for you.
I am coming back to falcon BMS but back in the day, we used to use RWS at first to get a better picture, and then switch to TWS once we were confident of what was in the area. Also, one of the planes in the formation would keep RWS just to continue to observe the airspace better.
Started this sim when it was 3.0 LOL... Still have 4.0 and would like to get it up and going again since I nolonger fly any more. Any squads still up? What stick and rudder are you guys using now? Miss my cougar HOTAS :{ and squad nites... X- " FREEBIRDS VFW "
Hi there. Thanks a lot for this video. I have an issue with my speed and altitude indicator on my HUD. It does not show them. Would you please tell me how to fix this issue? Thanks.
Very good tutorial for new players and us old people who forget these things too many times! Very good work.
These videos are *very* helpful, thank you, please keep making them.
Thanks. :)
Awesome Tutorial well spoken and to the point... love it!!
does all these MFD controls the same in the 4.37 upgrade? your instruction is great only if the controls comply other wise its confusing!
BMS usually expand on correct functionality, so if anything 4.37 should only add to what was there before, rather than replacing it.
good videos ... but could you also add more of the why(when appropriate) rather than just the what.... thanks keep em coming!
Could you give an example?

yes Andrew has it.... just really just some of the tactical rationale around when to use various functions.... so of it is of course fairly obvious.

Great job as always!
Amazing tutorial! Is it possible to go into the campaign more, such as what to attack, and other strategies?
I'm planning a campaign series when the tutorials are complete. I would expect to cover those issues to some extent at that time.
+supanova Nice! It's good to see modern tutorials like these, Krause's are older (and a bit rambly :P

When are you having that issue?
It happened when I changed the theater to North Korean. Do you have any idea what may cause this issue?
I can only suggest posting a question on the forum:

I tried shift home to lock on target but it doesn't work
You could try checking your keyboard assignments under settings.
Ok thanks
Thanks.
Supanova, are you interested in a discussion?
