Heyb guy's hope you enjoy, please don't forget to like and comment as that hopefully triggers more views. With RUclips Algorithm changes last year it becomes harder and harder continue doing this.
Great series as usual, good to see the y62 in the desert. I have the nebo rebel head torch and I love it. Thanks for all the effort you put in. We did a crossing east to west a few years ago and got most of our info from your videos👍
Hi Nate, thanks for your video. What are your thoughts about bringing children to The Simpson desert? I'm planning on taking my 5-year-old who loves camping
@@AlloffroadAu I should have said green light on a headtorch (it also has red and white) - no problem with bugs and is stronger to see with than red. I have amber lights around camp as a general deterrent.
RUclips dictates the ads mate, but given the amount of time travelling, filming and editing takes think a few cents revenue are ok or? You can subscribe to YT and have no ads

Glad you like them! I also still use them in all cars

Howdy, thanks for the video mate. If this is part 3, may I ask where is Part 2 (given that there is a Part 1)? Cheers.

28l per 100km extended tank plus 2 or 3 20l Jerries from memory got a bit close at the end
Great vid again Stephan do you have any idea what fuel economy the Y62 is getting in the desert ?
from memory a bit higher then he thought 26l per 100km

No problem at all. Just ensure they don’t wander away. My youngsters had a ball when we crossed the Simpson in 2026.
2016
When’s the ideal time to do this trip, reasonably comfortable weather
July and August would probably best month in general for the Desert
17:`10 if I'm not map reading or taking compass readings in the dark, I prefer a green light around camp.
may have to try that how is green with bug's from memory only yellow/orange does the job

yea that makes sense never seen a green headlight though do you know of one?
@@AlloffroadAu Bunnings - it'll have a green button on it.
