My Instagram name is xxnike0629xx as you probably know by now. 😄 Between the 2 phones, I'd say that S21 Ultra is overall better, but that's only until Samsung makes the Note 21 Ultra which I presume will be coming out later.
The GalaxyS21ultra obviously won yet I've always wanted the Note20ultra. I'm that 1% that would use the S-pen for taking notes and doodling. For me the note is definitely the winner of note!😁
I own the s21 ultra but I agree with you...the boxy design of the note 20 ultra is more visually appealing...plus the bezels look slimmer too courtesy the flat design compared to the rounded edges of the s21 ultra...only reason why I got the s21 ultra was because of the ability to use 120 hz at max resolution and upgraded camera
@Rannchu you can't get the 512...unless you want to wait months, and the stores usually on have the 128 on hand. To me the SD Card is the ultimate deal breaker.
Exactly 512GB you have to pay for, I have the note 20 ultra mystic bronze 128gb version, with a 1TB sd card putting me at 1.1tb overall the note 20 ultra is better, even stores sell the note 20 ultra for more than the s21 believe it or not
Well, I went with Note 20ultra a few months ago despite having known all the specs and release date of S21 Ultra. The S-pen and the mighty boxy design of Note is far superior than any extra cool features that the S21U has, at least for me.
The camera remote using the spen is such an underrated feature. On my Note 9 I depend on it a lot for family group photos at holidays and vacations. I can't notice any real difference in camera quality between the 2, but the s21 wins for the extra zoom. Looks-wise I prefer the boxy Note and the option for bronze, but I wish it had the same camera design as the s21. I just went for Amazon Renewed version of the Note 20 since full price is still too dang high.
@@OT4Tech I appreciate the box look and feel of the Note. I've had a Note since the first one. Love how the S-pen just slides into the device, no need for a special case. It's bigger and I prefer larger devices. MicroSD support is important to me too. The battery life on the 21 was amazing though, for me through an entire day with some to spare.
Seeing them in person, I really like the S21 Ultra screen and overall looks. The higher refresh rate is really nice too. But no SD card slot, no headphone jack and no way to carry the S Pen without a wider case are all important draw backs for me. Samsung only guarantees updated for 3 years and the Note is already a year old. Still I'm leaning towards the Note 20 Ultra.
I'm in love with these two phones, Note 20 ultra and S21 ultra all their features are great, no doubt about that. Both are amazing and awesomely beautiful. I was blown away by the elegance of these phones. Oh my goodness! Beyond amazed. ❤❤🤗🤗⭐👍
Note 20 ultra all the way it's my first samsung and I love it,love the boxy design and all the features,I don't like the way the s series is shaped,I was with apple 9 years and I switched from the Xs to the Note 20 ultra in October i love it and il never look back,I'm waiting for next year's Note 22 ultra then il upgrade by then il be due a upgrade on my contract
As an artist and writer I really wanted a true pen experience, so I went with the S21 Ultra. I draw and write for long periods of time so comfort is a big must for me when it comes to an S-Pen. I friggin love this phone.
Such a close match. Yet the price differences I findas of today between the two when the S21 Ultra hasn't the value of an S-Pen storage and an sd card slot, I think the Note 20 is a FAR better value, despite the slight shortcomings of the Note 20 Ultra vs the S21 Ultra. That's just me though. I personally value convenience and upgradability. ATM I have the S10+, and I got my wife the Note 10+. I kinda regret giving her that phone instead of he S10. I like the square edges and slightly larger screen better.
I'm concerned that 2 core factors weren't brought into play. Price and storage expansion. When you look at how much the S21 ultra costs and the fact that it has NO expansion available vs the much lower prices point AND expandability of storage...I mean it's the whole reason I'm leaning toward getting a Note over and Ultra right now. That micro card expansion can turn a 128gb phone into a 1.28 tb phone. The best the ultra has going for it is 512gb internal and you pay out the ass for it. I just wish the note had a higher RAM option like the ultra does. Another great video, Jonathan. I dig it.
Great review 👏. My wife just got the 21 ultra. She went from an s10+ to s21 ultra. So you can imagine it will take a little while for her to figure out. Me I'll stay with my note10+ nothing against s series I'm just a note person. Can't wait for the note22 ultra.
Note20Ultra 5G is the only true Samsung handset with all the features Samsung users need. S21Ultra missing sdcard support, MST on Samsung Pay in the United States, and bootleg Spen definitely can't compare to the Galaxy Note. And you can't buy 16gb of ram and 512 storage version of S21Ultra at any carrier they don't carry 512 versions of S21Ultra.
@@OT4Tech The Note is the Note the only real Spen. The S21Ultra at best is a copy cat definitely not the real Spen. Trust me nobody is buying the Spen for the S21Ultra that's why sales are poor per DJKOH. Oh and S22Ultra won't have Spen in 2022 that cracks me up.
Great review on both phones. I own both, the Note 20 Ultra and the S21 Ultra. The features on the S21 Ultra are great just as they are on the Note 20 Ultra. After using the S21 Ultra for 6 weeks, I put my SIM card back in my Note 20 Ultra. The Note series to me, gives a better user experience and remains my preference. I will give Samsung credit for creating a very close user experience to the Note series with the latest S21 Ultra. Despite the updated chip in the S21 Ultra and a few extra features in the camera’s functionality, I will continue using the Note series phones.
Having the same for three years. S9+. Before that, I had the S7. I liked the phone it was small. Before that had a Note 4 then a Note 2. I never thought I would love the S-series. I love my S9+ and I know it ready for a change. Even my provider is trying to get me to change. I'm leaning toward the Note20U than the S21U. Though the differences are small. I like a bigger screen. I don't mind any jack since I have Samsung buds+. I wonder if it's compatible with newer phones. Im sure they are. Then I want sharper pictures..lol. I think I need to visit my provider to see which one I fall in love with. For me, it's a dramatic change, and thank you for making an unbiased video.
I traded my note 20 ultra for the S21 ultra. The note is bigger but love the feel of the S21 Ultra. I can honestly feel a difference in speed with the phones. And camera is far way better especially for third-party apps such as snapchat and Instagram.
I might have made the move to the 21 ultra now that it is clear there will be no Note 21. The camera is the top draw. But I absolutely NOT make the change with only the 256 GB model. The 512 GB model is no longer available. Giving up the SD card was the last straw with no earphone jack. I have been using a 1TB card since the Note 4 and will not downgrade from my Note 9 until next year.
Hello Sir... Is it worthy to buy note 20 ultra exynos version in 2021? And How Many Hr. battery backup in medium and slightly Heavy usage? Please Help Me Sir...
Hi. I'm a big fan of your reviews. Reliable content as always. I've got a question though. Does the Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra 5g (snapdragon 865+) mystic bronze come in a 256/512gb variant??
S21... Better battery and better zoom features. Note 20 ultra... Better at everything else. I disagree with easier to hold on the s21 ultra. The note 20 ultra with its wider form, and boxy design is easier for me since I use two hands to type. The keyboard doesn't feel as cramp and narrow. I got more keyboard mistakes on the s21 ultra than the note 20 ultra. The macro close up picture and the zoom are great features on the s21 ultra. Overall I say it is a tie. I have both phone and I use them both.
You can run qhd@120hz on the note by using an abd command. Only catch is the display is set to 1439p. With that workaround and still having the sd slot and mst, have to stick with the note. S21 is still a beast, but outside of the zoom cameras, the subtractions outweigh the additions.
Basically I'm good staying with my Note 10+ because it does the same thing the only difference you will notice is Camara bump, other than that you won't notice nothing else different.
I never bought a flagship phone! I'm using a Samsung Galaxy j7 crown now for 3 year's! I dropped it a million times and not a scratch on the screen or Nick's! I jump in the pool with it a thousand times and it still works perfectly! Takes Great videos and pictures but the selfie camera been coming out alittle blurry lately! But I'm considering one of these 2 phones your going over!
long story short, the only advantage the note has is the sd card if you are compering the snapdragon variant now for exynos the s21 ultra is light years ahead if you take into consideration that the exynos 2100 is the first that can really compete with sd
@danhartman26 Thanks for the great comparison. Now I know my Note 20 Ultra can hold it's own for now... Hopefully there will be another Note next year. Or maybe an S22 Ultra with internal Spen storage?
As a mobile technician, my advise is to avoid the Note 20U. Really good phone but it has a fatal weakness. It has 3 chips on the screen which tend to overheat. The S21U is way more reliable. It used to have battery issues at release but it has been fixed via an update.
Winner is Galaxy S21 Ultra. Only problem is microSD support. But if it have 256GB or more I don't care. Clear and good comparison, thank you. @pastafareyshestvo
@colton.foster this a great review. I've debated on getting the Note 20 Ultra over the S21 Ultra for two reasons mainly... SD card support and Samsung Pay.
For me Note 20 Ultra nothing like a piece of mind knowing that Note 20 Ultra has MTS and NFC for mobile payments (translation that Visa/Mastercard will go thru in any machine. 😉
People people people get the note 20 ultra you will be blown away for years to come.I loved your review as always but honestly I pick the note 20 ultra hands down.there are to many extras plus the price is pretty extreme for what your getting.thumbs up if you agree thumbs down if you disagree.
The s21 is easier to hold because it's slightly _slimmer,_ which means loss of a sliver of screen real estate compared to the note. I saw this when insurance switched me from the note 10 to this thing....but all in all, it is an upgrade, especially with these camera sensors. I don't know why they didn't substitute a note 20, but whatever, at least the note10's s pen works on the ultra.
@jseverinoencarnacion I think the spen Bluetooth features can be used in some more situations, like doing chores and be able to change music in RUclips without having to touch the phone
*7:05** the sequential Read and write speeds of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is insane though, how is that possible?. It even beat the newer phone by quite a bit. Lol*
I traded the note 20 ultra for the s21 ultra but I think because I also use the 12 pro max I have gotten use to the bigger feel. Do you have that issue or notice?
Yeah you can easily get use to the size. It's going back to a smaller device like the iPhone 12 Pro (non max) when you realize how comfortable smaller phones are.
"when it comes to low light, both phones are pretty bad"..... 2020/2021 flagships here folks lol. However I do agree. 12 Promax and mate 40 pro/P40 pro is the best in low light. Samsungs 9 in 1 binning isn't that impressive in real world practicality vs the other flagship competition.
@@OT4Tech yeah. The "iso pro" feature opts for a lower iso indoors I notice, albeit with a very slow shutter(around the 1/40 mark in regular bedroom lighting) to try and keep the image clean. But at the same time I still think alot of finer details and even some regular details are lost. Indoors, this camera is a 6.5/10 at best, out doors the 108mp mode is actually on the point of amazing. The zooms and ultra wide I feel are the phones weakest points. (quality of the pictures after the processing kicks in). Sometimes the post processing on the zooms(especially the 10x) is moderately bad and doesn't look anything like you see on the view finder. This phones selfie cam I would actually rate as the best that's out there right now. If the rear cameras were equal to the quality of the display and speed of the phone itself(best parts about the phone) we would be 100% set! Hopefully(I hate to say it) they can add bigger sensors to all the lenses(get the zooms up to 1/2.55 sensors, the ultra wide bumped up to a 1/1.7 sensor and the main sensor the new 1/1.12 inch GN2 50mp sensor(and some better processing) lol. Supposedly hauwei is adding two full blown one inch sensors to the p50 pro? That's the rumor for now...
No MST for Samsung pay, No SD card, No built-in silo to store the almighty S-Pen. There was no chance I would be getting the S21 Ultra. I actually bought the Note20 Ultra months after the S21 Ultra had launched.
I prefer the Note 20 Ultra. I prefer the boxy shape of the Note and larger display, expandable memory, a charger in the box, MST, the S-pen inside the device
@@OT4Tech I'm definitely pissed off as well. I wish more big time youtubers would stress this more. There was absolutely no reason to remove those things, including the charger and the headphones
Trying to choose between these 2 phones. Will be upgrading from s9 plus through tmobil. Only thing is tmobil only has the note 20 ultra in this color. Can anyone give me a better idea of what this color is. Is it like a champagne or gold?
I've had that exact same SS Blue vegeta wallpaper since day 1 of getting my ultra over a month ago. Just waiting for that God of destruction Vegeta to come about😎😎😎
I bought a note 20 last year when it first came out and unfortunately because Samsung screws its own customers back to back which is what it's notorious for I will no longer be buying a Samsung phone
11:35 This guy just spewed the biggest nonsense I've ever heard in my life.. 😅 Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and S21 ultra are both very identical I'm not gonna lie. This guy just said higher resolution screen every single time when in reality I could not tell the difference between 1080p and 2k resolution especially on a 6.9 inch display.
@@OT4Tech You are just nitpicking so hard.. *The Snapdragon 865+ version of the Note 20 Ultra is an absolute wizard in performance and battery life and I don't know how Samsung did it.. it has a 4,500mAh battery and an over-clocked version of the Snapdragon 865 and yet it has phenomenal battery life. Only difference with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and S21 ultra is the cameras which are better on the newer S21 ultra due to the newer *HM3 sensor of 108MP* compared to the older HM1 sensor on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. But that's pretty much where the differences end. Plus the wider screen on the Note 20 Ultra makes it a joy to view content on.*

@@OT4Tech yes but when was the last time a youtuber said you should upgrade ?or you will notice a diffrence if you upgrade , this phone is so much better than this 3 years old flagship. Never heard.

Thanks! You too!
Thanks for the info. God bless you.
🙏🙏
Enjoyed your video/review! Nice job!!!
@silviobrittos hard decision between these two beasts. I'm a Note person, but this S21 Ultra is kinda mutant.
Just today I watched this channel which is amazing animations. I love it. Very professional videos. Big thumbs up from Pakistan 👍👍👍❤❤❤
@jseverinoencarnacion I think the spen Bluetooth features can be used in some more situations, like doing chores and be able to change music in RUclips without having to touch the phone
i can't decide about what to buy ... Note 20 ultra(snapdragon) or s21 ultra (exynos) . i can't reach for s21 ultra with sd version .
help pls
Definitely the Note 20 Ultra
*7:05** the sequential Read and write speeds of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is insane though, how is that possible?. It even beat the newer phone by quite a bit. Lol*
But I still love my note 20 ultra 5G
Bkoz of boxy design
I traded the note 20 ultra for the s21 ultra but I think because I also use the 12 pro max I have gotten use to the bigger feel. Do you have that issue or notice?
Yeah you can easily get use to the size. It's going back to a smaller device like the iPhone 12 Pro (non max) when you realize how comfortable smaller phones are.
If.u dont mind me asking where did u trade ur note 20 ultra for s21 ultra sos u do samsung trade.in and if so how was.it
@@Dannyv1987 it was 700 through Samsung
Near object focus and battery backup is best in s21 ultra
what's the name of those two games you were playing.....
Yeah it all comes down to processing.
But could you buy storage for s21 ultra, like iCloud for iPhone ?
Sure, you can purchase Google Drive storage or you can upgrade your Samsung Cloud storage
How do you feel about the Samsung ecosystem Vs. Apple and what it would like to switch from Apple
No MST for Samsung pay, No SD card, No built-in silo to store the almighty S-Pen. There was no chance I would be getting the S21 Ultra. I actually bought the Note20 Ultra months after the S21 Ultra had launched.
The macro shots taken with the Ultra wide lens are also brilliant. (S21U)
Yeah they are really cool and useful!
Where can I get that wallpaper? Thanks 😊
I prefer the Note 20 Ultra. I prefer the boxy shape of the Note and larger display, expandable memory, a charger in the box, MST, the S-pen inside the device
I feel that for sure. It kinda pisses me off that they removed the SD card slot and MST support.
@@OT4Tech I'm definitely pissed off as well. I wish more big time youtubers would stress this more. There was absolutely no reason to remove those things, including the charger and the headphones
These are beasts🔥🔥🔥🔥
Trying to choose between these 2 phones. Will be upgrading from s9 plus through tmobil. Only thing is tmobil only has the note 20 ultra in this color. Can anyone give me a better idea of what this color is. Is it like a champagne or gold?
I like the note:)) i feel it's better
I've had that exact same SS Blue vegeta wallpaper since day 1 of getting my ultra over a month ago. Just waiting for that God of destruction Vegeta to come about😎😎😎
FACTS!
@@OT4Tech right! Last reveal was him holding ball of hakai energy after training with beerus and I believe that was the end of the(fan?) Manga.
very awesome comparison. I like your video.
🙏 thank you!
I bought a note 20 last year when it first came out and unfortunately because Samsung screws its own customers back to back which is what it's notorious for I will no longer be buying a Samsung phone
Can't go wrong with either
In 6:04 what's the "Game pad" he's using.?
Razer Kishi
You're doing a great job man woooow this two are beasts
Is there is Snapdragon in s21 ultra
11:35 This guy just spewed the biggest nonsense I've ever heard in my life.. 😅 Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and S21 ultra are both very identical I'm not gonna lie. This guy just said higher resolution screen every single time when in reality I could not tell the difference between 1080p and 2k resolution especially on a 6.9 inch display.
So, since you can’t see the difference, that means everyone’s eyes are like yours and the specs are the same?
Cant wait for the times when youtubers will say " if you have the s21 ultra ,keep it you dont need to upgrade to the s23 ultra 😜
Well, it’s better than RUclipsrs recommending you upgrade your phone every 6 months to a year. We are trying to save your @ss some 💰💰💰 so you can contribute more to OnlyFans 😂
@@OT4Tech yes but when was the last time a youtuber said you should upgrade ?or you will notice a diffrence if you upgrade , this phone is so much better than this 3 years old flagship. Never heard.
S20 Ultra to S21 Ultra is a recommended upgrade. Note 20 Ultra to S21 Ultra not so much. Original Galaxy Fold to Fold 2 is a recommended upgrade but Z Flip 2 to Z Flip 5G not so much. I guess it depends on what RUclipsrs you watch and what phones are being compared.
@@OT4Tech well maybe 9 out of 10 comparisons when it comes to previous models usually they say dont upgrade and even 2 year old phones. But weirdly its rarely you hear that when it comes to iphones, the iphone 11 pro max and 12 pro max COULDNT be any more similar to tell any diffrence, and still i havent heard from a youtuber ""keep your iphone 11 pro max you dont need to buy the 12 pro max"
@@hbgstorm I've seen a lot of RUclipsrs say this is worth the upgrade
Watching this on a note 20 ultra after my phone insurance company sent me this as a replacement for my s21 ultra (out of stock) feels the same to me but now I have a pen lol
6:25 what game is this
Expandable memory is what does it for me... I hope Samsung figures that out and leaves it from here on out
I do prefer the boxy look of the note but the 120hz on the s21 is what sells that one to me
They both have 120hz
Good job dude! Between theses 2 I prefer the look of the S21, seems like a small difference but the rounded edges are just more appealing. @the_master_son
Awesome video 👌👌👌
Thank you!
@@OT4Tech keep doing it
was the ad choice intentional? Lol
It's the sound effects for me😂.
The Note Ultra looks more elegant and sophisticated to me better design also.
You use your iphone or ultra more? Have s21 ultra and iphone 12.
The Note 21 Ultra should be coming soon, right? Will you do a comparison between the S21 Ultra and the Note 21 Ultra later?
Samsung President made a comment this week stating the Note series likely will skip this year...and next Note is next year.
Imo note 20 ultra >>> S21 even though it’s probably the unpopular opinion @o.verma.n
i dont get how you get that much screen on time, i get maybe 3 hours of screen on time with 30% battery remaining
Sad they don't use snapdragon in the European Market
Note is the best Samsung device
Lexar 🔥🔥🔥
S21 ultra baby can't beat it best phone on the market 👌
Every u tuber has an apple watch except flossy
Wooow I pray I win this man 🙏🙏
@boralliraghavendra
Thanks for the video much liked.
My pleasure
I would still go with the Note. Yeah, you can get a pen for the 21, but then you need a special case, and that might not be the case you really wanted. You also don't get a slot for the memory card. That's a BIG NO for me just on principled grounds. This is a pure money grab from Samsung. They're being shitty, just like Apple, in this regard.
6:25 can someone please tell me what the name of this game is at 6:25
Doom
@@OT4Tech thank you soo much
"Awesome Compaired. (*_*) Loved Video infom "
S21 ultra feels better in the hand
Great impressive vedio
11:45 The Note 20 Ultra has the adaptive refresh rate too.
Yes but testing shows that it does not work the same way as the S21 Ultra. It is due to the written code for the display.
@@OT4Tech Hmm... that's interesting.
Fingers crossed I hope I win this man... Good thing you are doing
@mkd_stefan
I've expected for the S21U to win.
at 15.56 i would argue the note ultra has better hdr but hey the new one s gotta be better, right
*12:25** Lol yea the Galaxy Note 20 ultra and S21 ultra are exactly the same in speaker performance*
While wearing an Apple Watch. Lol
