I've been looking up these "how to draw fur" videos on youtube for a while now, and I think you're the first person to put the right amount of emphasis on how simple it can be to achieve fur texture. All these other videos that I've seen are less about the texture and more about photorealism, which is much harder to keep up with. I also really appreciate that you didn't speed up the video at all, it is so much easier to follow when I can see what you're doing in real time. Seriously, for being such an awesome, beginner-friendly tutorial, this video has a criminally low view count.
Yeah, most of them are just how to draw simple fur, or they expect you to learn from a timelapse of a sped up speed paint. I hate it when they do that.
This is the first tutorial that made me keep watching. Most tutorials are pretty boring and hard to understand but this one was interesting and made me keep watching
while working on a piece involving fur, I found this video seeking help. Almost immediately I noticed a massive quality increase in my art. Rather than my overcomplicated attempts, this way helped me greatly and I thank you!
When I tell you I have actually been looking for a tutorial like this for years, no joke. I literally been looking up "How to paint fur" but everyone is always making it seem so difficult and so hard to keep up with. It's so much easier than I thought! I've seen many people focus more on the realistic part than the actual fur part. Thanks so much, dude! This is gonna help me a lot!
This absolutely blew my mind. You make it seem so effortless!! Ive never thought of drawing my fur this way, but i will DEFINITELY be trying it using this technique! Great work, your art is stunning!
Thanks so much for this! I've been drawing fur like that with pen sketches & wasn't sure how to translate it into digital art. Now I have something to try out & I'm more excited than intimidated now. :3
THANK YOU. i’m doing a drawing of huggy wuggy from poppy’s playtime and after the sketch i decided that i wanted to paint it and this is going to be extremely helpful
I am a child and I screenshotted this and then put it on my drawing app then I traced the basic shapes and tried to copy how to draw realistic. U are so helpful and u deserve 100K subs
Don't trace, even if you're a kid getting caught with that can ruin your career in the future because its a form of plagiarism. Using references is better for drawing and will help improve your art.
great tutorial! thanks so much for the tips! ive been trying to find ways of improving my fur and i think this is going to help a lot! keep up the amazing work!!
Looks like it's photoshop or another adobe app- Which means it does unfortunately cost money. Photoshop can be used on desktop, I dunno about mobile or tablet. Hope this helps!
Biggest thing zoom out lol If you stay zoomed in u gonna be like eww it don’t look right but then you zoom out and like oh that actually looks okay now
So i’m rather limited in my recourses, i use ibis paint in my phone with no pressure sensitivity, do you know any brush or anything that i could use similar to the one you use in the video?
This is a very nice painting by the way God bless! I can tell God blessed you with a talent, but remeber when God gives you a talent use it for good! and you be surprised what happens out of doing that!

I THOUGTH IT WAS HARD BUT I DID IT IN 10 MINUTES💀 you saved my life tysm ;)
Your voice is so calming, and it's really nice to find someone who doesn't use some obscure brush to get a hyper-realistic look :)
This absolutely blew my mind. You make it seem so effortless!! Ive never thought of drawing my fur this way, but i will DEFINITELY be trying it using this technique! Great work, your art is stunning!

*"iT's AcTuAllY rEaLLy eAsy."*
It is easy, but it's just tedious to draw ;-;*

THIS is the video I needed, I'm actually trying it right now since it's my first time trying to do a render, and I like it so far
I ended up downloading like 20 different brushes in hope of doing similar fur and adding a bit of my own art style into it.
Thank you so much i was struggeling with fur now it looks like a pros 😂

tracing is ok if you are learning proportions and how lighting works. However, do not post your traced art on social medias.
Woah this is actually really helpful! I am going to start digital so this is really helpful, also you are an amazing artist!
No way I never thought it was so easy :O

It’s awesome thanks, also what app do you use to draw?
Photoshop
THIS IS AMAZING! Mind telling me what app this is? And is it free or does it cost money? And what device is needed for the app?

wow!!! really amazing video, very well done!! If anything, I wish there was no noise (that key mashing and clicking sound very loud)
I kind of like that though it gives a more realistic feel of how an artist works
I love it
