- In this video I share my entire process for painting realistic fur on my Ipad Pro using the procreate app. I use the brush set that comes as standard on the app and also demonstrate my own custom brushes for painting even more realistic fur.

Oh my goodness… I am in total awe. My furbaby just passed away and I miss her so much… I thought maybe if I painted her, the process may help me. Am going to try and learn from you.
This was explained SO eloquently!!! It makes so much sense! Thank you!!!
Incredible! Finally a fur tutorial that explains things. Fortunately I have saved a set of native brushes from each Procreate update as they have removed the touch up catagory in native brushes. I know they put os e in other categories but it is nice to have the actual brushes you used. Thx again. Referring this video to my friends.
The best digital fur technique I've seen, and I've watched many...none to the level you showed. Thanks for the video.
How wonderful. This is really awesome.
Nice! It would be helpful to have more digital tutorials to demo the application of your brushset.
This is the video I’ve been searching for!! Thank you so much for this!! Very helpful, easy to understand and now my brain is like oh! That’s what I need to do!! Lol 😂 I’ve been struggling with hair for a while now and this just made my day. New subscriber here 😊
Welcome 😁 and really glad it was helpful!
This is a huge help, thank you for explaining step by step. I always struggled with rendering fur. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the tutorial! ♥
This was super helpful for a beginner. It didn’t look EXACTLY like yours but good nonetheless. Now I gotta practice different animal fur patterns, like zebras, giraffes, etc.
Also, do you have a feather tutorial by chance?
That's so amazing! I'm sure anyone will make big progress when watch it. Thank you for the steps.
This is the video I needed very much!
damn you now need to buy those brushes. i’m working on digital art skills, and i main draw pets and monkeys (don’t ask.) they’re never good enough to post bc I CANNOT DO DIGITAL FUR
you laid out the steps well, so giving it a go
Thankyou sir
Wow this looks amazing. ❤
this was Amazingly well taught! would you by any chance teach us how to paint animal noses textures and eyes surrounded by fut? PLEASE!😅
Quite helpful tutor,,,thank you 👍🏼
Just to be clear all the brushes he uses is from the material set exept the acrylic
Thank you!
Np
Quite helpful tutor. 👍🏼
Thank you for this extremely helpful video.
Just bought your brush set and holy shit its so cool. Thank you for a great tutorial (and dw as a fellow brit, I didnt find your tone condescending)
brilliant!!
Very useful, thank you😊😊😊
Ok, but you didnt mention what blending mode you set the layer on.
I am actually so frustrated bc I'm a high realism artist for portraits and have mastered that but this fur?? Even with this tutorial has me so annoyed bc its not coming out right!! 😭
❤❤❤
Great
Nice
I am new to procreate and this is my first day drawing lol you can blame this video and your channel for that😃 I'm struggle bussing it over here trying to find the touch up brushes. Where is it? It's not on my list

Easy to Say hard to do 😂 but thanks it helps a Lot
I like this , but it feels more reliant on the Tools than Techniques. I'm using a TOTALLY LEGALLY ACQUIRED version of Photoshop.
So I don't have a lot of these tools available ( at least that I've found, yet >-> )
Like literally Most of the brushes you Mention are NAMED ' Fur '
Lover lion
Man this is going to take long...
What brushes did he use here at the start etc? Im completely new to procreate so Im sorry if I look dumb rn 🤭
Below Spraypaints Touchups. I don’t have the brushes I’m looking into
Ahhh found it its called materials now!!
I need help with the nose! 😢
So THAT is how those furry/AI-generated artists do it, as my graphic novel, Zoomorphic Ultimate, as with realistic fur, it will revolutionize the furry fandom, since 2016’s Zootopia!
Good tutorial, but you sound a tad condescending towards less experienced users.
i didn’t think so- but i can understand how it felt that way to you. many art videos have a lot of “i see beginners do (this thing i do all the time)…” and feel personally singled out 😀
this is embarrassing to admit but we’re among friends- UK accents immediately make someone sound fancier and i me. “do this, don’t do that” can sound condescending to me like you said- but sometimes for me, it’s the accent for this bonehead american over here

Procreate removed the touchups brushset so this is outdated
The brushes for it still exist tho
Look in the Materials brush set
I am losing my mind on this apps stupidity, it draws like a jumping snail and it undoes things a second or two after I've drawn it and won't let me pull out shapes
I feel like the hair brushes is kind of cheating
That’s what they’re for?
