I also use cheap pencils to make crystal formations for my fantasy/sci-fi terrain collection.
You can also use them for pipework in certain sci-fi terrain pieces, which just adds that little extra difference to the whole piece 🙂
Love this video, and will use the inspiration from it to make a few barriers for myself 🙂

Actually I am editing a crystal video now. Should be out next week.

This is a great hobby idea. Thanks! (edit: I had the volume way down, ignore my previous comment on the mic levels)

I have a version 2 with 2 size craft sticks and no pencils. Still debating on if I should do a video.

I have a few thousand golf pencils, now I know what to do with them. All the barricades for my Gaslands board!
Edit: If anyone is wondering, I literally do have thousands of them. My late grandfather made a board game that never really took off. There's been about 1000 copies sitting in a garden shed since 1998, no one on his side of the family wanted them when he passed, so I took them with the intent of using them for crafting supplies as I recently got in to Gaslands and the boards make fantastic bases and material for buildings.
And well, now I know what to do with all the pencils, there's 5 or 6 in each box.
