Dear teacher your videos are very helpful. I m a student of BS Mathematics and now I am watching these to write my Thesis. And one thing more your voice is so good. thank you
If only lessons at out school looked like this. Here they just leave the work to us and no one has a clue on what to do lol. So glad I found your channel
The new videos' format is great! I would like to know... is it possible to change how the math functions are displayed? For example, change the writing of tangent of x from "tan x" to "tg x". I ask it because in Portuguese the translation of "sine" (for example) is "seno" and we usually write "sen x" rather than "sin x".
Good evening Michell. Please do not consider my last comment. Now I think I can use properly curly and square brackets, as well as $ symbol. Next time, when I have a doubt, I'll try to find the solution myself (I mean reasonable doubts)
Good morning Michele! I am creating my second document (common mathematical notation- second video) by using my keyboard as well as the mouse (I work with a mac). Would you please tell me how to properly use the following símbolo: {, { }, }, $, $$? It's being a little nightmare going forward, backward, forward and backward again and again! My fingers are going crazy. Some little advice, please as soon as you can. Thank you in advance.
I'm wondering how to wrap my text into editor itself...because whenever it exceeds the viewing area it goes to the next line. Also wrap text checkbox is checked into my editor setting, but still it's not working. If anyone can help me into that...
Do you know of any documentation as to the notation of Lah Numbers using Latex? I have had no luck using google that has any returns from a query that includes Latex. I have found the \lfoot and foot brackets as an alternate method for Lah Numbers but I am not sure if this has been accepted?
Hi! Some uppercase Greek letters look like Latin ones, so they are not provided by LaTeX (e.g. uppercase Alpha and Beta are just "A" and "B", respectively). So just text A in math mode :).
Google is your best friend for these specific questions (StackExchange specifically)! Last year I wrote a summer report in LaTeX without prior experience in it just by googling and figuring out the parts I needed. Now I'm following this series to get a better understanding of how it works.
These are fascinating tutorial videos, outstanding; I really do not know what to say. Just keep uploading videos, I would love to learn from you :))

Yes, I think the solution is outlined here: tex.stackexchange.com/questions/289949/defining-tg-so-it-behaves-exactly-like-sin-and-cos/289951

Could not start the command.

I tried to put capital alpha too $$\Alpha$$. With that it gives error message "! Undefined control sequence.$$\Alpha"

Thank you so much mam!!!
Great tutorial mam, understood everything but can you tell how to do cases like x is 1 if -----
Do you mean piecewise functions?

Thanku mam .
The correct package was amsmath. Found out after trial and error.
