I been using saw palmetto for years now ! My hair grows like grass, clear skin and the sex is amazing. I have never experienced side effects.
Can u please share what brand or type ur using. I heard some people saying it may make u urinating like crazy and mass up with deeply sleeping as well and sleep is the thing here because I had insomnia in the past and never want to have it again.

I been taking this for about 2 weeks ad had my first experiance of side effects. It is extremely power, diarrhea, fever and headaches but after 24 of drinking water you will be fine.

Well, I have high blood pressure if it helps lower than I'll try it. Because even medications given by a doctor can have severe side effects

Lisinopril was making my hair thin out badly
I am taking finasteride. does it make sense to supplement saw palmetto? I take 500 mg in the morning and 500 mg in the evening. Can I increase the dose to 2g a day? Do you let go completely?
I don’t think the added dht blocking effects will be significant or useful.
Keep in mind that saw palmetto just acts like a weaker finasteride and you need a certain amount of dht not too high to keep your hair but to have a healthy sexual function, muscle growth, mood and even bone health

There is very little, that I could find, as far as science-backed evidence to make a strong claim about this. There is plenty of anecdotal data and personal claims by individuals though.
I would suggest discussing this with your doctor as there may be more beneficial, natural solutions available.

Hello everyone, I'm taking this drug about 6 months every other day, I decided to stop using it to see what will happen, I felt pain in my stomach and massive bloating feeling, for 3 days the problems decreased but I decided to take it again, my dosage is 320mg, please share your experience with me

I'm going through exactly the same thing. Iam on my 6th day and i am having pain in my stomach and bloating but soon as i eat the bloating subsides. My dosage is 320mg. ill stop now and see what happens to my prostate again, Though, the prostate pain seems to have reduced say by 45% and the excessive urination for 6 months reduced by 50%.

Great up front review of saw palmetto! I've been taking 50 mg of zinc supplements along with 3200 mg (every second day) of saw palmetto and will see the results in 6 more weeks! Hopefully the combination of zinc and saw palmetto will work for my enlarged prostate problem!

I take that with 4 cloves of raw garlic (2 cloves in the morning and 2 cloves at night) per day. I also take 1000 mg of vitamin D and 50 mg of zinc everyday as zinc is easy to find and cheap!
The raw garlic helps to reduce an enlarged prostate while the zinc helps to restore the zinc in the prostate back to their normal levels.....

The doctor in the RUclips video suggests 25 mg is enough but I'm taking 50 mg for 3 months b/c that was all that was available and on sale at the time.
It will be another week and I'll let you know the outcome.
Heck, for less than $100 to cure an enlarged prostate, that's pretty insane.....
Doctors wanted to have me do a TURP operation and I declined and researched things myself. After having the problem for nearly two full years, not a single doctor suggested taking zinc to cure my enlarged prostate problem.
Never trust a doctor today as most doctors are just in their position they are in just for the profits....

Depends. DHT is a much stronger form of T, so if you take SP and continue to do stuff thay increase E, then E will be very potent

Blood clots by saw palmetto is real. It happens to me after start taking saw palmeto for a month then I got blood in my semen during my jerking. This was happened by the blood clot in my testicles.

My son wo is in his 30"s took a vitamin with saw palmetto and he become really dizzy. I don't think it is good for everyone. It can be dangerous because it lower blood pressure.
Yes. Just because something is "natural" does not mean it is good for everyone and before taking anything, you should always consult with your doctor.
How many did he take? Did he take the proper dose?
Was the issue from the saw palmetto or the the vitamin itself?
There are tons of issues that could be related to the supplements or vitamins without having anything to do with saw palmetto.
Or the other way around, it could have been the saw palmetto but for you to put a general statement without providing all other questions around... not good.
I have never taken saw palmetto, so I can't comment on it. However, I have never been able to take a multiple vitamin in the morning eating a lighter amount of food.. If I did, I would surely get ill. Sometimes vomiting. So I started taking them in the afternoon with a "significant" amount of food.
I am dealing with that right now. Super dizzy and lightheaded and I think I found out why.... thank you.

I experienced palpitaions, i went to get a ecocardiogram, it showed a little problem in one of my heart valves. I stoped taking red bull or monster, less caffeine y mild exercise ..... i have no palpitations after three months, also i eat much more vegetables and less meat and grease.

I used Saw Palmetto for two years for androgenic alopecia: it didn't work at all
It has totally cleared my Cystic Acne Breakouts on my chin....but unfortunately it has killed my sex drive. I have none whatsoever. So I'm going to back off of it for awhile. I had my testosterone blood levels checked & the nurse said they are way too low for a 35 Year Old Woman. Yikes! It has also caused Weight Gain...not good. But it has reduced acne!

You know, your comment is rather on point and this is the challenge when it comes to natural supplements and therapies. Most of the evidence is anecdotal as far as those who will tell you that taking a specific supplement made a world of difference or found it to not help at all.
When we review supplements, we do our best to share with you what is "backed by science" research and that often leads to conclusions that state "more research is needed." You can take 50 people and give them the same supplement, same dosage, monitor their diet and lifestyle habits for 6 months. At the end of that 6 months you may see some similarities but you are also likely to find a rather broad range of results.
