Haunt is one of my favorites too. It gives me the one thing I want in a horror related thing: dread. Specifically: the dread that some threatening being is watching you and/or is actively making its way towards you, and you’re stuck in one place, such as your bed, hoping and praying that this thing won’t find you. It reminds me of a story from Scary Stories To Tell in The Dark, which I think also perfectly captures this feeling. The thought of some otherworldly horror slowly approaching you while you’re stuck in bed is one of the scariest concepts in my opinion
I remember watching WAY more obscure animations on RUclips during the ‘10s but sadly, many of them are gone. But I’m glad Haunt is still up. I remember stumbling upon it during a field trip and I couldn’t really sleep without a light on for a few days 😂
The worst part is remembering obscure videos well and not being able to find them again either because they might have been taken down over the years due to changes in the TOS or just due to having no idea what to even search for in order to find it again.
I feel this way about a horror film I seen as a kid I had a choc ice as the scene played out, an older doctor type figure in a block of flats in the UK, he was wearing a tweed jacket and he killed a girl on a kitchen table and cut her clothes off I couldn't eat my choc ice the shot zoomed out to the block of flats during the day, its burned in my head but i cant find it
