Do you guys have a video on how to remove the fixed rear quarter glass from an e90/92? I don't see anything anywhere on how to do it.

I through a stone with the motor mower which shattered the glass into a pound of razor-sharp redneck diamonds, now the job is finished, what a relief.
I think you guys are the best, and certainly most thorough channel when it comes to BMW repair. OMG sooo many channels just tell you how it was done, and show you a picture of the finished product. Checking this video out for my buddy, but I got a 318Ti and it took 6-8 months to replace my starter because you "had" to purchase a German made 1/4 inch E12, nothing else made anywhere else would fit the Torx bolts holding the starter in place (we're talking like a 1 MM variance. crazy.). And I did not want to drop my transmission! lol! But nobody on any channel ever talked about needing a particular German tool for the starter to be replaced. I spent like $80 on different tools (even U.S. made) until I got wise about the situation. It's a German car. Duh! German tools work best! lol. Thanks for your channel! You guys haven't steered me wrong yet!
Thank you for the video. I just got my new window in. Good to note that it's a precise fit. I had to mess with it for a long time before it fit correctly. You have to shimmy the thing into place. It doesn't drop-in effortlessly. Also, once the window is ready to drop into the two regulator shelves, the window sits on top of the shelf frame. I just pushed (fairly hard) and the window kind of slammed onto the 2 little shelves where it belongs and the plastic fasteners went into the holes on the window. Thank you for the video.

So my entire window is shattered . Were you still able to roll the track & regulator down?
@@WestIndian0000 yes I was because tho the glass was cracked/shattered it was still together because I had window tint ..
Also there was no damage to the regulator just cracked glass
Take off the inner door panel and just carefully remove glass
@@clevontimms24 thanks on my end there is a big hole in mines. Glass is not together anymore

Remove and install of the glass its easier if u remove the trim on the door, or u need its a flat screw driver, push up, start by the mirror work u way back,

I have an e92 coupe, driver window was replaced by a PGW and it rattles, doesn’t close in the back and I can hear the road when the window is closed. Is PGW a direct replacement? Also found the little white piece that holds the window in place is horribly broken. Is that the regulator or the window itself?

So after i finished the repair I got a service lift light on the dash and none of the electrical components work. Windows locks trunk... the music turns on. And also i have to press the start button twice now before the engine turns... and the engines turns slowly. I’m not driving it but I was able to run a diag and received 54 error codes kind of saying the computer isn’t communicating. That’s as far as I got any tips on what could be wrong

What about the plastic window clips that go though the holes at the bottom of the window? If someone follows this video only, they will not have their window attached to the regulator, just sitting on it.

First, it’s a different process for the E93 Convertible. Second, anyone who is narrating a video should only do so after mastering the language, in this case English. Third, after 5 “WTF did he say?” Replays, your video is more work to listen to, than it is useful. If you cannot enunciate, you cannot have a thumbs up (even if you were otherwise helpful. The same goes for anyone who who is foreign born, but Living in America. Lose the accent, or at least post a disclaimer. We appreciate and support your efforts 😊and welcome any foreigner that truly aspires to be a legitimate American, all we ask is you learn to speak English and do so clearly.

@@oleksiimartens9779 yes but I didn’t find a video anywhere! I just had to dive in. The glass is bolted in to the door at the bottom as it’s a pillarless door. Removing the door panel is slightly different too, because if I remember there is a bolt located under the wing mirror plastic cap.
