So I've closed the claim, no point even trying as I'm earning under minimum wage, there is no safety net for working people anymore.

    I really hope you are right. When we hear this and read this from Sunak my daughter who I support breaks down. It’s added to her anxiety. I’m sure he knows the effect it’s going to have on people. We were looking at her getting her own place now that’s on hold in case she falls foul of this and can’t pay the rent. Imagine a world where this came true, struggling people forced off benefits, then become homeless, some turn to crime to survive, some die, some commit suicide. This would cause anarchy. I would rather live in a world where there could be some scammers getting away with it rather than see genuine people getting thrown out with the bath water.

      Pensions are a benefit. The government even admits that themselves. Only the senile say otherwise. (,dementia, delusion, hypocrisy etc). Unemployment Benefit was linked to contributions and other benefits. Pensioners aren't rational so really shouldn't get to vote. (talking to them is pointless like Maga nutcases they talk total crap) They are narcissistic, sociopathic, selfish, greedy and have no common sense. Letting over 60s vote makes no sense. If Rishi want's to introduce a policy against people on benefits or disability after the election, you can bet that Labour will continue with the same policy when they get in. Policy's have nothing to do with right or left. There's only the agenda that matters.

I’m so broke as a result and have had to get a 40% credit card just to pay the bus fare to go to job centre and eat. Because I still haven’t received my first payment I still have to pay for my prescriptions and dental treatments as I’m not eligible until I get my first payment . I need to apply for Pip for my severe ADHD, Autism that means I am unable to hold a job unfortunately. Most main stream media companies are owned by billionaires who have interests in the conservatives. The others have all started to fall inline with the government since the pandemic. If you speak to actual work employment agencies in the UK they will tell you the UK fundamentally do not have a sick note culture, we are more likely to work whilst being ill than take time off as we need the money and SSP ( Statutory Sick Pay ) is peanuts. The lockdowns and the mis handling of the pandemic has caused increase in mental health in adults and children and then there is the new mRNA vaccine harms with new proof and the long covid diagnosis. More people are on sick now than ever before. Good to watch you're channel you provide a good un biased check at what is going on with DWP and PIP etc.. Thank you.

    In some places people on UC cannot able to increase their hours or carry out two jobs. For example, many jobs have cross over points in which when a person finishes a job may not be able to get to the job on time because the bus does not arrive or operate after a certain time. Many UC benefit households and single people do not have car ownership to enable them to take extra hours or take two jobs.
    People live in some areas that has limited employment opportunities or in a place that offers short term or temporary contract like the Christmas period. Even people working at home do not work full time due to the nature of the business.
    Only professional companies that employ highly skilled or skilled workers often have higher wages or longer hours of work to meet new UC criteria. Supermarket, care work, cleaning work tend to be part-time and start similar times.

    • @jonathanp89
      @jonathanp89 Месяц назад

      Transitioning from PIP to ADP under Scotland's devolved benefit system brought me relief but also apprehension. Past experiences with PIP assessments were brutal. They grilled me about my darkest moments, even asking why my suicide attempts failed. It left me feeling like garbage. So when SSS reached out for my ADP review, I was dreading it. But their approach was different. They simply asked if anything had changed and offered help with the paperwork. When the decision letter finally arrived, I braced myself for another round of interrogation. Instead, it was a straightforward renewal for four years. It felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders. Scotland's welfare system seems more understanding, more humane and dignified. Maybe I just got lucky, but ADP feels like a step in the right direction. ADP might not be perfect, but it's definitely more compassionate than the DWP, in my opinion.

    It was interesting this week to watch the politics based programmes like question time and peston. I didn't want to watch as I thought it would be a full on attack on the disabled. But it wasn't. There didn't seem to be much support (if any) for rishi sunaks cruel intentions towards the sick and disabled. Most thought it was abhorrent. What made me laugh out loud though was therese coffeys gaff on Peston. I don't think she realised what she said when answering a question about disabled people scared to try and work because the measures are punitive if that person struggles or can't manage it. She said 'because then they have to face the awful assessment process again'. This is the woman who presided over the dwp for 3 years, who to this day has refused to meet with the families of pip claimants who committed suicide or starved to death in their homes. The fact she slipped up and called the assessment process 'awful' says it all because she is not saying it from an empathetic viewpoint. She is saying it because she knows that the process is deliberately awful.

This is being reduced to peasantry, Tories see them as peasants, no doubt screaming Tories saying Work you peasants and make us rich! Along with immigrants using them to be deceitful in costs billing, all lies as far as I'm concerned, as that costs billing is money for them to shove in their own personal off-shore bank accounts, whilst they thieve and do you out of your rights and steal that from you too each and every year from the disabled.

    Government is to centralised and so is the media, narrow minded that they don't like people that question what is wrong or right and anywhere else beyond London doesn't matter or exist

    The calls etc are unsolicited under the electronic communications act and accessing personal files without permission is now a criminal offence,so is modification of documents which are all void of identity.at liberty to do what they want whilst depriving the claimant of theirs.

    Hi Richard n Cara.
    Hope your both good 😌.
    Just a quick one what do you know about MediData...? They seem to be something to do with my Drs, but want to charge me for letting them access my Medical Records... doesn’t say how much they want to charge, but a quick look online not much info. So not to happy about signing this and I am UC and can’t afford to pay.
    Thank you for any information in advance.
    Kind regards Damon.

      Give it a break. For goodness sake ..getting fed up this trashing labour at the moment it’s hypothetical ..and they can’t be worse ,that’s impossible ..I expect your a reform voter ,trying to throw others of the scent..it’s no for reform from me.
      We need change and even if it turned out labour was worse..I vote green ,defo not Tory or reform.

It’s a joke tbh I know people who had cancer with actual disability’s who had there money stopped a month before dieing ? Before Covid people had to jump through hoops to get disability benefits it should go back to the same !

    • @Umbrey_Dunctum
      @Umbrey_Dunctum Месяц назад +2

      @MONGBEAST1984 you’re either being disingenuous or naive. The Tories will only take any course political 0:08 action so long as it fills their pockets or broadens their power over people. We’ve all seen Tory MPs live in the Commons pissing themselves laughing when a member of the opposition bench reads out a letter from a constituent protesting at their starvation politics.( See Tory MPs laughing as Starmer tells of Iceland workers struggle to pay mortgage)Most rich people have nothing but contempt for anyone with less money, even if they ever bother to think of them at all.

      It’s going to throw the baby out with the bath water. Don’t you see, the scammers are still going to get through because they are good at it. However genuine cases aren’t good at these things. They tell the truth and even underestimate their needs. They are the ones who will be refused. If you so much as smile at one of these assessments they mark 0 .
