Life is about family, so most of killed children were killed by their parents, most of the killed women were killed by their partners, and pretty wholesome families go boom soon after the funeral when it's time to decide who gets the grandmas house. Family is a weak, completely problematic concept, which was able to live only when there was some restrictions making people stay in it. If you idealise family, you've got a great life, i guess. There's absolutely a problem within the US of both hate crimes and lack of services for trans folk, but... this is a McDonald's ad, not a news broadcast. Doesn't really fit in, here.
I remember this McDonald's commercial from waaaaay back in the 80s when I was a child. It was either a deaf man or a deaf couple and they were signing to each other on the beach. I'm pretty sure they had bikes they were walking along at some point, and I want to say it was sunset at the end when they were sitting there eating McDonald's food and signing on the beach. So McDonald's was clearly trying to appeal to and/or represent marginalized groups even back then, but there's a VAST, TREMENDOUS DIFFERENCE between wanting to be inclusive of the unintentionally disabled and being supportive of the dangerously mentally disturbed. I remember feeling touched by the 80s commercial, even though I was just a child. It had a sweetness about it, and it made me feel almost tearfully happy that the deaf person/people had found someone to be friends with and they were able to enjoy being together and communicating while they sat in the beautiful beach setting. There may have even been an element of the commercial that intentionally tugged at your heartstrings though, I have a vague feeling of that, like maybe the deaf person(s) were lonely or struggling to get help or be acknowledged at first??? And then someone comes along and helps them and boom - happy ending over McDonald's fries at the end?? Surely someone out there remembers this commercial. I remember it so well bc it was on a VHS tape that we watched all the time, a favorite movie which we had recorded off of TV. We did that kind of thing back then, for those who weren't alive to do it themselves. Hell, I was still having to record songs off the radio onto a cassette tape when I was a senior in high school. So yeah, it's partly etched into my brain from having seen it so many times when I was little.
The people that make American advertisements are spiteful, that's why they can't withstand the wholesome warmth that comes from the japanese commercial.
Was in ad business many years back, as was my mom. Ad strategy, at least then, researches and then CATERS to what their target market wants, their values, and who they are. Spite will not make companies money, which is what ad agencies are hired to do for them. And the agencies will quickly lose clients. The public has become much more selfish, mean spirited, intolerant, greedy, entitled and inconsiderate. So that's what so many ads have to play into or they are ignored Here in the U.S., people are staying single, having fewer kids, so ads cater to this lifestyle. Japan similar re young people choosing single/child-free lives, only it seems there they are trying to steer things away from that toward family life in this very appealing ad. McDonald's early strategy was to promote dining there as a wholesome FAMILY outing, as it was in ads for years (good documentary w Michael Keaton on founding and building of McD empire). They've evidently devolved to stay with the times.
Ah yes, the best way to ensure your long business life: cater to the people's desires, even if it is to cut out the future country and thus your future customers...
@@acelophobicindividual8924 Not ad agencies' job to secure the future of our country. Companies pay agencies big bucks to do ONE thing: sell their product/service. They are not non-profits, bleeding hearts or social workers. Or, dare I say it, politicians. So yeah, you give your customers what they want...or perish. Example: One of the fast-food chains tried offering salads. It bombed because their clientele didn't want to buy them. So they nixed it. Its not advertising's or businesses' job to protect people from their own bad choices, poor judgment, lack of discipline, gluttony, irresponsibility, etc. People's decisions and choices have benefits and consequences. Personal responsibility, baby.
I’m going to sound dorky but idc; I love seeing the 50s ads, the homestead ads because you see a normal family together or you see them in the garden together working as a team and there is nothing being shoved in your face. Just families being together and living life.
The fact they try their absolute hardest to try and make themselves look suppressed is beyond wild and that they will go as far as doing this on a MCDONALDS ADVERTISEMENT

Trans people, trans fats.. idk.. the irony of a trans person to say stop killing me, while being in a commercial for a company that uses trans fats that actually kills people.. wtf..😂
So raising awareness to stop kill1ing minorities is considered inappropriate? Damn what a sad time to be double minority in the US... "Please stop k1lling us." "OMG enough with your propaganda 😡"
Japan's McDonalds ads are always the best. If you check out the tsukimi burger ads, it's usually about a father who wants an excuse to reconnect with his children because he's been working too hard or they moved away for college 🥺
Now, their main go is to divide us all so that we become as weak of a nation as possible, then in turn they can get away with whatever nefarious plans they have to ruin America even further.
Then ok, some of them can also be about the couple, your weird friends, enjoying some me time... But it's so clear now that they are doing PSA instead of marketing a product. I am OK with PSA using trigger words, honest names for crimes and illnesses Yada Yada... But it's PSA. It's ment to shock people away from committing crime. Even a funny scene with a cis and a trans flatmates being goofy and wasting time arguing on "vegan or not", and then one of them gets a salad portion and a burger.... I mean, it shows that people may differ from the average family and still makes more sense than a PSA inside a commercial
Commercials are always just corporate propaganda. don't be foolish enough to think they care about any side. You can only win if you don't play. I mean you could argue that this is a “political ad” from a Japanese perspective. With the low births rate and Japanese government incentivizing for Japanese citizens to settle down and have children this is “technically” propaganda influencing the public to view family life as a want/need on the future. We do have that. But conservatives only show you the times they signal their virtues to tell you you have it worse. Don’t believe them. All conservatives do is lie.
Who cares. It’s all board meetings and advertisement for profit. It just a matter of which segment of the target audience you fall in. Nobody is inmune to corporate propaganda
Japanese ads might be wacky, weird and zeiny but they'll never be "black trannies want you to stop killing them" weird. Keep japan xenophobic and based.
we need more art because commercials are a cancer to society. all of it is propaganda to make you consume their bs. Just watch a Gibli movie. It looks the same but it also has integrity and soul because it wasn't just made to sell you food. Spirited away would be a good wholesome start if you wanna learn about japanese culture and have a sweet message. another one would be the Kiki's delivery service wich is about a young girl learning to be independant and to learn about life in general. that's more worth your time than whatever the megacorp is trying to sell you.
I work full time, once a week when I have to go to the office, I drive my son to school and we stop at McDonald’s. I don’t usually order anything but he gets a McGriddle. This is “wholesome” because I’m doing it to spend time with him and he’s doing it to get a delicious McGriddle, and maybe to spend some time with mama 🥰 but it’s become our little weekly thing that we both look forward to.
It's valid ofc to have this be a wholesome thing. but don't you feel a bit weird that megacorporations get to basically dominate your life like this so they'll always make profit with you? I dunno about you but the fact alone that a megacorporation gets to infiltrate the little free time we have left feels dystopian. Seems like there's no place to go to just exist without making megacorporations more money. Everywhere you go you're meant to consume to feed the machine. So genuinely no matter what political side you are on. I would suggest to seek time in places that aren't infested by these entities. if you can't move away from the food, at least try to go to the drive in and have the food maybe at home or in nature. walks can also be good. or growing your own plants and such. that in particular also doesn't cost you much effort. Nature is free. and not dominated by human greed. So don't abandon that. It may help you and your son as well. Cause it's important for the soul to stay connected to the earth. It's ironic, though, that Japanese people got mad at the whole ad, thinking McDonald's was "brainwashing" people to have more kids due to low birth rates. Meanwhile, they would lose all sanity if they had to watch the woke ads we are forced to watch here in the US.

Life is all about family and I will die on this hill.
You won’t die alone. I’m right here with you.
Life is about family, so most of killed children were killed by their parents, most of the killed women were killed by their partners, and pretty wholesome families go boom soon after the funeral when it's time to decide who gets the grandmas house.

I wish I could see wholesome ads on tv bc I here for it
Ah yes, the best way to ensure your long business life: cater to the people's desires, even if it is to cut out the future country and thus your future customers...
@@acelophobicindividual8924
Not ad agencies' job to secure the future of our country.

This is how commercials use to be in the 80’s and 90’s! Wholesome and all about the family!
I mean, it shows that people may differ from the average family and still makes more sense than a PSA inside a commercial

from what i saw it was bc both the mother and the child look too young. they said that it looked pedo to draw an older woman like that ☠️
Its a sad thing when you have to watch ads in other countries because leftist propaganda is so rife in your country that you just wanna remember what an innocent cute, family friendly ad used to look like.
Yet it's you ppl that constantly obsess over the ltbg and give this BS coverage and promotion every single day. If it wasn't for Republicans constantly obsessing over this nonsense then I wouldn't know anything about the ltbg
@@bogard887I wish that were true but unfortunately it is everywhere. I'm from Ireland so I'm not left, right or republican it's different here. But every shop is filled with pride flags, mandatory LGBTQIA curriculum in schools. DEI training in places of work. It's impossible to ignore. It's Marxism the just using the community to push the agenda. All of my gay friends hate they are sick of it being pushed in their name. Especially on children.

I ate my last McDonalds meal yesterday. 2 quarter pounders, large fries and a large Coke for $22.00
The only thing fast about fast food is how fast buying it depletes your bank account.
The Japanese ad is so cute and wholesome.
I love the Japanese commercial. It portrays pure happiness and love. Media needs to show more of that.
Agreed, there is more violence shown then happiness nowadays. It affects the way children think and interact with other people and this is a issue that needs to be fixed.
The west is slowly losing its wholesome touch, it's being replaced by cynicism and a very jaded world view.
@@compl3xlife197What? Violence is shown before happiness? What are you on about?
“Sir this is a McDonald’s” 😂 savage
Derpixon : "Nice an New Asset for me"😂😂
Oh boy
I live in Japan and i can confirm that most of the food commercials you see here especially McDonald's are really wholesome or non political. It's great here.

@unlimitedrabbit Having gender dysphoria doesn't make them bad people. It doesn't make you better than them. I respect people unconditionally . People shame trans people but never the doctors who transition people. Should transpeople be shamed for their entire lives?

The thing I can say about this
These disgusting leftists think that their feelings and gender ideology is all that matters
must not of seen the Reddit comments about that little girl huh?
I read some comments saying it's "grooming" because the child is sitting on her dad's lap so that's when the last tolerant part of my soul left my body and is living in Costa Rica.
That merely exposes just how diseased and malformed the minds of those people is. There’s nothing wrong with a child sitting on her father or her mother’s lap. It’s entirely innocent and that some people think it’s malicious suggests they didn’t receive enough hugs from their parents.
Wtf...😭😭😭 People have lost their minds
They have also said the wife is a child, not knowing that a number of Japanese women look like girls due to good genetics
That’s what you guys say when trans people exist 😂

What's more, one reason this ad got so much attention was that it was being attacked by leftists for "idolizing trad family lifestyle."
Surprising. I thought they left Earth few months ago. They have alienated way of thinking that really makes them "stand out" than most of normal people. I don't even know what's normal anymore. I think, I'm having identity crisis.
That "Sir, this is a McDonald" is gold.
Even funnier with the "Sir" too LMAO

McDonald's literally did the Wendy's meme unironically 😭
Impregnate them both
But where are the McDonald's products. You can't even see in the video where they said anything about McDonalds. Nobody in that video said nothing about McDonalds. McDonalds should sue her
It's not a real McDonald's ad. This woman is pushing a lie about both a corporation and a vulnerable demographic to score political points. She's disgusting.
I hope I see the US McDonald’s ad every time I consider going there for a burger. Guaranteed to kill my appetite in seconds. 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮

but you do kill them. Black trans women are murdered everyday
How so, I wanna hear your opinion
Ads these days aren't about selling products but about selling your soul
Bingo!
As a trans person: tf is bad about this ad??? It's just a cute anime-style family enjoying some yummy food. Tbh, i wish all ads had this level of wholesome love put into them, it would make ads so much more tolerable. The ads in the States just make me annoyed and wanting it to end, and don't work, but these wholesome and/or funny ads do work. I just love the animation, and now I want some McDonalds 😂
