LOL, the Japanese would react even worse on pranks like those. You'd 100% get sued. That's why those TV shows had people agreed to be pranked before hand. They know the pranks were coming, but some don't know what will actually happen. Since they have the agreement from participants, they can do the craziest pranks, but it's totally defeat the purpose of a prank in the first place.

the bed launching one is the best for me, imagine someone doing this to you while you're having a nice and relaxed sleep LOL I would've woken up immediately.
I was asleep at 4:30 a.m. one time and was suddenly launched up into the air a few feet, then dropped. It was a sudden earthquake. I did wake up quickly, and immediately left the building because there was a lot of horizontal movement after the vertical movement, and I didn't know if the building would fall on me. The toilet had been jerked out of the floor, bolts and all, by the force. The apartment was one of many declared unsafe, and I had to move. That was indeed a weird feeling; at first I thought I was dreaming.
@@HADESthe3RD I don't know if it is only based in Japan, but if someone does something like that to people of my country here in Europe, well, those pranksters will be sent to hospital with broken bones.
This is the culture of Japanese television. We laugh at the funny reactions of comedians when they are set up for a surprise. Also, when a comedian is set up for a surprise, he or she will overreact in an attempt to make a funny reaction to get people to laugh instantly. Most of them are thankful in their hearts for creating a funny scene. These surprises are safe because they are rehearsed many times by the staff. And this kind of thing only happens on TV and rarely in everyday amateur interactions!
