I grew up an orchestral trained brass musician...I took on drumline in High school with this background. I was a drummer in metal bands after these years of experience for quite a while. Warching Marco shoot out these rudiments in off times and just act like it's no big deal is a slap in the face. A true master of his craft
His energy is amazing. I can't imagine how fun it must be to play alongside him on stage. Also, 6:09 I've always wanted to learn that. Since watching his solos in his Extreme Drumming dvd.
Tricks are fun and he sure makes them look easy but for real, what a bad ass this guy is on the kit. Unbelievable the independence and capabilities he has spent years of time to accomplish. From the looks of this he seems like a great guy to hang around with also. \m/
Guys, you should watch the old Thomas Lang stick tricks. My favorite to this day is the offbeat stick throw, where you play a classic off beat, playing both hands on HH alternating, and after every hit with the reversing motion you throw the stick to make 180° rotation. Easy to do and looks great.
Make sure you have the best timing you'll ever achieve, and enough good fills before you start trying to do things to show off because It doesn't help playing. And unless you're playing live or trying to impress your friends or someone, being a good drummer is more important than showing off. Most people don't actually realize what you're doing anyway and unless they are a drummer and could appreciate it, don't bother with it. When I was in my teens and twenties I went through that phase and eventually stopped and only concentrated on playing.
The first one is just a spida. Check out the video of Scott Johnson if you want the "correct" way which isnt 13 16th notes. But actually 16 16th notes, And there fore a full 4/4 bar
Dont, ALL voices are need, plus its about flowing your colors, expression that creates joy & LettN Your Soul Stretch its legs. Keep gracing this world with... You. 😉
lol for the general audience, this stuff is more useful than some esoteric techniques that nobody would even be able to discern in a live playing situation
Love Drumeo!! Been watching this channel for so long!!! Inspired me to learn drums!!!! You guys were my teacher during my self taught period!!! Just amazing you guys!!! I even have a RUclips channel for my drum cover and other Musical stuff! Show some support by checking it out! And do give a feedback !! Much appreciated!😊
a little cheesy but some of them were pretty alright i suppose for a introduction to stick tricks this is ok but it goes much deeper than this and the creativity is up to the person im okay and have been doing it for 2 years almost its hard to practice in winter since hand dexterity is bad in the cold and its most suitable to practice outdoors if you check out different stick trick drummers and superdrummers youll see what i mean by it goes much deeper
eyyyyy so im assuming that the giveaway for that yellow drumset is up? I didn't see any sort of reveal. I wanna know if i can get rid of my notifications XD
I love Marco's playing. That said, there are two items I have never appreciated in a performance. One is getting the audience to participate in a sing-along with the group I paid to hear. The other is the stick tricks. I've watched Buddy Rich over 50 years and he blows you away by his command of the instrument alone. No goofy stick tricks needed. Same with Marco here. Great player, stick flips distract from the his performance.
Mineman is a drum god and a fun guy too - what a neat combo :)
Agreed

Marco = Pure Joy!
looks difficult, but it's impossible
Lmmfao!
LOL
Marco is the coolest dude ever.
His energy is amazing. I can't imagine how fun it must be to play alongside him on stage.

After watching previous episodes and now this; Minnemann is awesome, what a good genuine guy. Never really knew him before Drumeo vids, just the name
DrLovejuice pretty sure he auditioned for Dream Theatre. That’s a great series of videos.
He was the drummer for necrophagist if you like tech death metal.
Check out his work with Guthrie Govan in their band The Aristocrats!
"Actually, I didn't know I could do that" lmao you're a bag of surprises my man

this is when a guy reachs the fourth dimension on drums.... Marco, i could watch you all day long...cheers!!!
Was für ein fantastischer Drummer. Unglaublich.

Thank you for adding the bloopers! 😂 Perfect example of when you know something but haven't had to break it down that slowly before.
Cookie Monster!
The amaizing Marco MinneSupermann!!!Incredible!!!
mann! ..that German knows his stick-tricks
That German Technical Engineering is almost impossible to beat!!!
They developed those tricks 80 years ago in the camps to modify gravity

Marco is Jesus behind the drums for real !!
Such touch. Such finesse.
6:31 HIT THE DAMN CYMBAL!!!
Just watching is enough for me, its fun
incredible skills!!!😍😍😍
Siempre tan sencillo Marko! Comenzaré hoy jijijijiji.

"That is how easy they are" - I'll just have to trust you, my metronome doesn't go to 666bpm.
The very best To MARCO !!!!! GREAT MAN !!!!!
Love the bloopers 😂
Uggghhh! Love the cat shirt, sir!
Hahahaha oh shit, so easy! Marco is such a joy to watch. This is insane.
Love this man
Great for using in the music stores to get their attention.
The trick at about 5:40 is the drum version of that swinging arm dance the kid on Katy Perry's music video does.
This guy is really unreal.
Nice that he still has (after so many years in the US) still is German accent. Love the tricks.
I want that t-shirt! Marco is really an unusual drummer!
Man, i feel so inadequate now.
Dont, ALL voices are need, plus its about flowing your colors, expression that creates joy & LettN Your Soul Stretch its legs. Keep gracing this world with... You. 😉
You are inadequate though. This man made you confront reality on it's terms
Ridiculously good!!
You sould do more of these kinda videos haha. Loved it! :D
I really don't know what to say & I'm a drummer... awesome!
I just saw him live a week ago and hollllly shit! He is a fucking god. Best drummer of all time in my eyes.
Looks much better than the DT audition.
And amazing drummer and person.
Ok i know this is so unrelated but his voice is like the perfect asmr.
Crazy Stick Tricks... not easy stick tricks!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!

6:47 That fill has almost been copyrighted by Harley Davidson, lol!!

I luv this guy!!!
That intro music was crazy man
Awesome…👏
can I use a 1 second clip of the video for a music video I am doing? overhead view of drums...
Wow!!! Amazing
not necessary but damn you can use those hihat-stick paradiddle during grooves
Love from india
The moment you realize he is playing Double-Bass AND Double-Hi-Hat in the last trick🤯
The Master 👍
lol for the general audience, this stuff is more useful than some esoteric techniques that nobody would even be able to discern in a live playing situation
100% Theres a Time & Place 4:/ Everything.
Smokin!!
Awesome

This guy is better in showmanship then Tommy Lee.
I loved it

Imagine when margo has this long hair. He'll be the dream theater drummer now
eyyyyy so im assuming that the giveaway for that yellow drumset is up? I didn't see any sort of reveal. I wanna know if i can get rid of my notifications XD
They announced it on a livestream a few months back...
@@jordanbaird3808 lmao I guess I knew in my heart all along that it didn't work out
Fuk Yeah, MadMan Marco is as Badass as he is funny!
Cool!!!
Marco should be the one who teach Yoyoka, i can only dreaming
Stick magic.
Drum Houdini.
DrumDini?
Hot stuff
So this kind of stuff !
The end of the video is to teach you all that a also Drum God can do wrong things but wasn't not enough to satisfy my envy ahahah
It would be better to use white sticks, by the way... an incredible video!
I gave this a shot. I dropped one stick, the other bounced up and hit me in the eye. 🙁
Lmmfao!
Marco "You Know " You Sound Great Brother "You Know "....
im a guitarist, dont even have a drum kit accessible, why am i watching this
Black sticks, black T-shirt and some black backgrounds was not the best combination while recording this😅
Nice
Can I meet humans in this Video.....
Marco is turning into The Hound
like the movie drumline
I like his Tshirt
I’m depressed. Knowing that I’ll never be able to drum like you 😟
Yes, but Nurture the one voice nOne else can master better than... YOU💥💪😉🤘💥
He can never play like you. And he just plays him. So do yourself and mankind the favor of doing your stuff with all the amazing inspiration! : )
Marco is a Monster but... What about Virgil Donati? we want to see Virgil on Drumeo
Personal choice for me but it's refreshing not seeing any tattoos. Definitely out of the norm for a rock mucisian.
Check out the stick trick lesson I just posted on my page!
"Very easy to learn".. yeah yeah, not at that speed :p
34 seconds in..."Nope!"
Good luck everybody!

The first one is so overdone it screams "I'm trying so fucking hard to impress you, please like me"
and I cant even do that sticking with my sticks not turning.
Good god at the size of that tom 😂😂😂😂🤦♂️💀
