Thanks for your trip and blow by blow! Glad you are heading out on the mainland to see the rest of the country! Looking forward to the rest of your journey!
Enjoyed your video as always. have to say I've never been to Mexico, but have watched loads of individuals travelling through the country, without major incident. Hope you guys stay safe.
I'm glad you were honest about Mexico. I live in San Diego and have been going to Mexico for 30 years. It can be dangerous if your careless. I've had the Rosarito police steal all my money, my stereo speakers, and my spare tire. I've been on a deserted beach when a pickup showed up with 4 nasty looking guys in it. We took off, and they followed us all the way to Ensanada before leaving. Last month, 8 Americans were killed in a case of mistaken identity. The cartel tied up the cartel members who did the murders and left them for the police. Mexico is not Disneyland.
You crossed to Mazatlan, when I crossed on my motorcycle that ferry was broken and I had to go to the center and most dangerous place in Sinaloa, my ferry dropped me in Topolobampo, outside Los Mochis, talk about dangerous place. BTW, why is you poor dog always in his cage? Why can't he sit behind you guys or in the back?
Just a few weeks before we crossed, Topo was the only option. Our dog rides in his crate 99% of the time because it is the safest location for him. A traffic incident is by far our biggest risk and that could easily be fatal for our dog. There is a RUclipsr we follow who fell asleep while driving and wrecked. He survived and his dog died. The guy documented the aftermath pretty well and it was heartbreaking. That’s why we bought a crash test rated crate and built our entire vehicle around it. He also loves his crate, like most well trained dogs, because we have put in the effort to ensure it is a safe place for him where he can go to feel comfortable.
Another UK vlogger got stopped just before Mexico 🇲🇽 into USA 🇺🇸 border. The sketchy armed group asked same questions, also stopped for making UTURN. One stood on passenger side being nice, asking about their travel. The other group stood on driver side, being assertive & arrogant. They wanted to separate 2 conversations, so they didn't talk to each other. The Group Demand request for on the spot payment or be escorted to local police station. The UK Vloggers were quick to get their cells out pretending to call their embassy on Saturday, saying their embassy person will meet them at the policestation. It was enough, they were let go and no payment made. It was a horrid experience. Trust your intuition.
Looks hectic! We have some some issues in some countries on the African continent, but nothing like Cartels 😮. Never had to worry like this in all our travels around Southern Africa
My husband is Mexican. and he says it is dangerous. It is not an exaggeration. Yes the majority ofMexican people are nice but then there are the cartels. There are many missing people.
Don't overthink it a smile and a wave will get you a long way all the way down to Argentina!
Very true, but we still felt like we should share how we were feeling as we took this next step. Thanks for following along.
So glad to hear from you. Stay safe & listen to your gut. Love you ❤❤❤
Thanks! Love you too :)

I hope you two are okay, since there have been no new videos in a month.
Yeah we need an update even if it’s a simple post to the community area.

You’ve got this!

Well, you are into the true overlanding section of your trip now. Take care.
It certainly feels that way!
Interesting crossing. You may hit many police and military checkpoints, but maybe that's a good thing.
Yes, lots of checkpoints in Mexico, which we don't mind. It's just hard to tell your brain to ignore your internalized fears some times.

We have heard lots of good and bad stories, so it's hard to know what you are going to get. Thanks for the heads up!

❤
Is all ok? You two have been very quiet...
We are good! Sorry for the delay in the next video!! There is a post on the community section of our page explaining the situation.
How much money how much money OMG that would’ve irritated me lol
It was a little much... especially being bombarded by multiple people at the same time.

Hello?
My husband is Mexican. and he says it is dangerous. It is not an exaggeration. Yes the majority ofMexican people are nice but then there are the cartels. There are many missing people.
Thanks for the heads up.
Vilifies? So go visit a cartel area and film that!
Hi - Sinaloa is a known cartel area. That's why it's a Level 4 Do Not Travel Zone on the US State Department website.
