I am in Michigan 6a! Glad to have found you!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Would love to watch your garden progress so it's a yes from me for more videos of this nature, please!
Yes more videos. Every one who gardens loves others gardens progressing. Beautiful garden btw
Thank you! I love watching other gardens grow too! I’ll make sure to keep posting :)
Beautiful garden 🥰🤩🎉
You have a beautiful garden
Thank you so much!
Must have done a lot of research and preparation because second year is shocking to me. Amazing garden 😁
Your first garden bed that's fully shaded, you can grow lettuces and cool weather crops all summer in it.
Everything looks great!!
Be prepared for the Beefsteak plants to outgrow your trellises. Just from my experience they get 7’ tall.
Thanks! I have 8’ tposts on either side of the florida weave but I lost about 2.5’ between the portion in the ground and next to the raised bed. Hopefully it’s still enough room
I love this ❤
You look like you have a gardenary style garden. I love it!
Thanks!
Just subscribed. I’m in Michigan as well and new to gardening. Most of my yard is shaded so we will see. Your garden is beautiful 😍
Thank you!! So nice to hear from another Michigander :)
New sub here. Thanks for sharing.
I love that you are a Michigangander too! Im in 6b so its interesting to see the difference. Im guessing you are in the East coast. 🙃
Yes! I’m on the east side!
Great vid, please keep showing progress ! ❤ love from AUS
I really like the color on the snap dragons
❤❤❤
Looking good, Sam!
Thanks!
raised bed anda tertata dengan sangat rapi 👍
We wanna see the seed starting setup system you have inside 💠
I've got a lot of reels on Instagram of the seed starting set up :) when I bring it out again in January i'll record a video for youtube!
Did you say this is only your 2nd year growing??? Your garden looks fabulous! Would love to see future garden tours.
Yes! This is my second year. Thank you so much!
Thanks you
The only annual that I've had grow well in the shade is potatoes.
For perennials: rhubarb, blueberries, currents, gooseberries.
I’m surprised that my zucchini is doing good in a shadier area. It gets sun 1-8pm though so maybe that’s enough
I am also in Michigan and a new subscriber! Cant wait to see future vidoes. I have been thinking about starting to bee keep. Did you have to get a permit to keep bees?
Hi!! I love connecting with other people from Michigan :) no permit needed for bees in Michigan!
Just subscribed from Calgary Canada!
Hi!! Thank you :)
If its not slugs eating your zinnia leaves, may most likely be beetles.
You could also go to the landfill and get compost for free. I haven’t done it yet so I don’t know the quality.
I’ve never heard of that but I’ll look into it. Thanks!
Cute
Đẹp quá bạn 🎉
For peppers, when did you first sow indoors?
End of February but it was too early. I’ll be doing mid/end of March next year.
prune your onion blades!
I did when they were small seedlings inside but haven’t since transferring them outside. I’m worried about opening up the leaves to disease 😬
Beautiful girl ❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹
when did you plant your onions out? i think i waited a little too late lol
I started my seeds inside last weekend of January and planted them in the garden second week of April
@@MorethanGardeningthank you!
I have had problems using straw as mulch. Too many weeds. Do you use a specific brand?
I use EZ straw. I do get weeds but very few and they’re easy to spot & pull
Where did you get your mesh trellis from?
It’s a cattle panel from TSC
Where are you located in Michigan? Most of Michigan I thought was zone 6b not zone 6a
I’m on the east side :)
I’m in 6a as well. My folks are 30 minutes away and are 6b. Go figure 😂
