The 'B' (or less) pictures back in the day are far better than today's blockbusters. Now, mediocrity abounds.

Back in the day scriptwriters were literate people, well versed in the classics of literature. Some of America's greatest writers were employed by Hollywood to craft scripts. Nowadays the beancounters rule and the bottomline is the only concern. And so it goes.

The immediate post WW II Era in our country was our best days. It's been down hill ever since. Last time I saw this on TV was in the early 1960s.

That's true. WWII was thw part of the plan, where the final phase of the destruction of humanity, where the depopulation would continue with more measures and not just wars,as also the point were they developed the technology, that would made their plans viable. TV and cinema were their first tools,to program and manipulate humanity. Then they added internet and digital technology,to completely destroy everything and everybody. Every poison they add to their weaponery,is addictive and they advertise it,by making it a fashion. Tatoos,Smoking, drugs, videogames, internet, tablets, pcs, mobiles etc etc.

You're partly unjust: though the plot is somewhat questionable, I must say, the actors are brilliant and the thrill is pretty there, too. Now, the weakest spot in a plot (nice rhyming!) is the fact that Frank, himself raised the suspicion when nobody else didn't - he could've continued with the scam since everybody believed those were accidents, not having a slightest reason for "rocking the boat"...
