Amtrak 42 CHASE !!! (Santa Ana to San Diego)

I got a second opportunity to chase Amtrak Heritage Unit P42DC #42 (America's Railroad Salutes our Veterans) This is by far my favorite out of all the Heritage units. This time leading southbound Pacific Surfliner #774 at Five (5) different locations !!! Also, watch at the end as cabcar #6906 leads northbound #785 at Two (2) different locations..
Train #1 - Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #774 departing the station after a big rain storm.
4th Street in Santa Ana, CA.
Friendly wave from the engineer too.
1:15) Train #2 - Awesome meetup featuring 774 and a Metrolink train, with cabcar #657 in the lead in South Orange County.
2:32) Train #3 - Carlsbad Village Coaster Station.
3:50) Train #4 - Sorrento Valley Coaster Station.
5:05) Train #5 - Noell Street in San Diego, CA

The upcoming Memorial Day weekend I will be driving to Chula Vista in the Civilized San Diego area, I will be riding on the Pacific Surfliner to Oxnard on 5/27/2017 for the day. It will be a round trip on Amtrak's Pacifc Surfliner that I'm looking forward to. It will beat the heavy holiday weekend traffic on I-5 with 4 construction zones. Amtrak is the way to travel for me.

Fun Fact: If you go on google earth and go to the Amtrak Chicago yard you will see Amtrak 42 and Amtrak 50 which is the big game train

Because it's B roll footage and not the focal point of the video.
By the way, how were you able to get from one place to another so quickly to see this same train?
passenger trains are pretty easy to chase when they constantly stop at stations or red blocks
