another awesome video and links. Please add links to your jackets and gloves etc. This is important as you guys decided to wear your MX protection full time and then wear a jacket over it. I'm gonna use allot of your experiences to plan my own trip.

Hello Scott/Jack, first off Merry Christmas! And thanks a lot for sharing your trip and insights with the rest of us! I am considering doing this trip in the next few years with my oldest daughter who is in college right now. I did have a few questions if you don't mind that could help those of us thinking about doing this trip. Could you tell some more about your electronics setup, your communications system, microphone setup, gopro setup, how you used footage from two different cameras to make one video, etc.? Also, it seems the Trail Tech was very valuable but noticed you also used the Garmin. It seems there is some overlap between the two, for example both have elevation, etc. Was the Garmin mostly for the satellite emergency/family contact capability when out of cell coverage? Just trying to figure why you needed both. Have you considered making a post trip 'debrief' video on the mods to both of your bikes, things you took you wish you hadn't and things you wish you had taken but didn't, things you wish you had known beforehand, etc.? For me, I would definitely consider doing it a trip of a lifetime and thanks again for sharing yours with us! - Chuck

Glad to hear you are considering a trip with your daughter. I am excited for the adventure you would have together.
You have very good questions and we will be providing videos that dig into each of them. Thanks for asking and for following along.

Hi Guys, you camped at our property in Azalea and you guys interviewed me. I don't think that made it into the video, but it's great to follow your adventure.

Question for Jack, your tent is a 2 man tent, correct? And you have the Big Agnes Divide sleeping pad, Regular size (20”x72”)?
If I purchase the same tent, it should accommodate the Big Agnes Double wide sleeping pad that’s 40” x 72”, correct?
Also, check out the MSR Voyager pants. They are a good value. The jacket and pants are very nice for the price.

You are correct. It has the room plus it has the small area on both sides under the rain cover for boots and other items. I did wear MSR pants but you need to size them up. As far as holding up they were great and cannot beat the price. Good luck.

Did Jack lose weight on your trip? He looks a little thinner than in the early videos.
