  • A group of friends rides the Wyoming Back Country Discovery Route (WYBDR). Throughout the ride we experienced epic scenery, challenging ride conditions, connected with the land and our bikes and enjoyed sharing the experience of an adventure with friends. I rented a Suzuki DRZ from Rogue Moto in Grand Junction Colorado. On the trip we had a KTM Enduro 690, two BMW's F800GS and an Aprilia Tuareg 660. We started from the Northern End of the WYBDR at the Montana Border and rode southwards about 1000 miles of dirt heaven finishing in Baggs Wyoming.
Check out www.roguemoto.co for more info about rentals. I am not affliated with them but was very pleased with the service and the quality of the bike and gear.

This is the best presentation of the WYBDR I have seen. So succinct, upbeat and enjoyable. Congratulations.

    Fabulous video.
Recorded, edited, and narrated extremely well.
This BDR was important to me.
I just came back from a deployment to Ukraine in DEC, then they were invaded. I left a lot of fabulous ppl behind and felt massive guilt.
My crew and I had planned the WY BDR and it was needed to cleanse the mind. Even if only briefly.
I intended on doing a video but all of my video was poorly recorded (camera facing too far down).
So your video captures massive memories.
    THANK YOU.

Hey Nik, what a great video and an awesome ride. Congrats on making it through the difficult stages. You are now a competent off-roader. Really impressed with the professional video that you put together! Scott(Joan‘s brother)

Thanks! We did the entire route in 9 days. It took me longer because I picked up my bike in Grand Junction and rode to the start up.

Here's the funny thing. Because we did the trail North to South, we did not see the warning signs poster in the Lodge if you stopped to get gas heading south to north. We all had a good laugh about that - don't interact with the dogs etc... The dogs really enjoyed interacting/chasing us. LOL
