Allow me to amend my previous statement a slight, tiny, itty-bitty tad, if you will:
I, personally, agree with O.P. in his described scenario.
IMHO, Attempting to distract another driver on the road, while both parties are driving -a time during which One should be especially cautious and alert, I say-is a dangerous action and should not be performed or taken lightly. For the sake of every other driver of the road, when operating a personal motor vehicle, as is this O.P.'s described scene, One should remember to focus on the road and what is happening, not _who_ is driving; to boot, One should also assume that, for SAFETY'S sake, other drivers will also be concentrating on the ebb and flow of the vehicles around them, road signage, pedestrians and traffic lights, etc., not the other drivers in particular; the way every driver is trained when taking their written and practical tests to obtain their permit or license.
Whilst I, myself, am not perfect, I strive daily to ensure the safety of other drivers with whom I share the roads on which I frequently operate a 2+ ton death machine. This includes not attempting to distract them while they, themselves, are also operating a 2+ton death machine, and are, ideally, more focused on safety than socializing. You know what they say about ASS-U-ME-ing... Guess I'm caught.
I, personally, take road and food/kitchen safety extremely seriously. If my being overly cautious is an issue for y'all, I _certainly_ apologize.
I _do_ hope anyone offended by my obvious lack of charm while describing my own personal annoyance at any one, particular driver on the road assuming that they are the most important thing for another driver to focus on while driving, rather than the aforementioned ebb and flow of all of the other drivers around both parties, including pedestrians, traffic lights and signage, etc., will take into consideration that one driver trying to get another driver's attention for a reason other than alerting said Other Driver to potential danger (or a light color change, let's keep it a buck, yeah?), while both are operating 2+ton death machines could possibly, if One imagines real hard and wishes upon a lucky star, cause a tiny little tickle between two or more vehicles, including the drivers and any passengers or cargo they might be transporting, as well as pedestrians, traffic lights or road signage, etc.

Story 1) I agree keep up that flirting and playfulness in a relationship for as long as possible but while driving and with a car is not when or how you do it. Driving is already a dangerous activity on it’s on there is no need to add to it just to have fun. And the mentality of “you didn’t get hurt so it’s no big deal” is how the action is seen as nothing so it’s repeated until someone is hurt
