If I remember correctly, Kurt sang this song during a set on the evening 9/11 occurred in 2001. A poignant impromptu performance that put everything into perspective that day. I’ll never forget it 👏

i was so lucky to see Kurt Elling for a master class at Uarts in 2003 or 2005? I can't remember but it was brilliant!
