Just bought Stitch Artist 2. Your tutorial made sense to me! I also appreciate how you zoom in so I can see the icons you are using since I am not familiar with them yet.
Thank you, for this video. This is my first time using any software like digitizers and it is definitely more work than I anticipated. I able to follow along and some stuff worked like you explained others did not. But I am pretty sure it is a user error, lol. I am hoping my Pikachu comes out looking whole. Crossing my fingers.
I want to hire you to help me understand Stitch Artist better. I have #3 and a few others from Embrilliance and have been watching videos for a few months and for some reason your style of teaching has me understanding better than anything else. I have a Dream Machine 2 and watched your stitch alignment for the seam that stays 1/4 inch regardless of fabric movement and would like whatever tutorials you think will apply. I have an adult son with cerebral palsy and he is an artist. I would like to be able to help him understand the program because I think he will create amazing designs. How do I get in touch with you or find your classes? Do you ever have weekend or two day tutorials? I would travel to attend one of your events. I live in Oklahoma.
hey brad! thanks for your videos.. they're the only resource online for tutorials on embrilliance!! Im trying to figure out how to break a point on my mac. Do you know how to do that? ive tried to right click.. but doesnt work for me. thanks!
I have the Embrilliance software, you mention your class and having the cd with the file, and I'm hoping that you have a cd with classes and files on it, cause I need something to start at the very beginning and go on. Is this what you have, and if so, can I have a link?
How do you color sequence it where you don’t have to keep changing the color thread so for an example the two red circles on his check will both be stitched out at the same time so you don’t have to do one red circle (change thread) yellow thread for skin then (change thread again) to red? Or does it automically do it for sequence everything and group the same colors?
I think you might be able to use the magic wand tool on the ears and then make the stich and then use a slice or split tool selection to get rid of the outline that connects to the rest of the character
and maybe with that little mouth part where you had to go in manually for the 2 separate parts there are sometimes like merge/connect fill in objects stuff for certain embroidery programs that will fill in the difference between the 2 objects and make them one with stitches in between after you add a fill for them
and for the outline you might be able to take the color that it is outlining like the yellow for instance and duplicate the yellow and slightly increase it's size on the duplicate to match the outline then turn it into a type of stitch that is not a fill that will turn into the outline and turn it to the color you want like black then take a slice/split tool and remove anything that wasn't supposed to be part of the outline or overlaps on multiple outlines that you don't want.
hello Brad I am new to this embroidery software and I am using the trial version from designer gallery software to see if I like the program and I am able to use it. ANd I have been having a lot of difficultly trying to get the creator to work just like you show in this video. I need help please. When I did the pikachi like you did the points come up different and don't look the same when I do and I can get the stitches to show up and its very frustrating because I really want to purchase this software but I want to make sure I can use it before I spend all this money.thanks,Lisa
Hi. Im new to embroidery and designing and I noticed when I go to my machine to stitch my design its really tight and the bobin thread shows up in front. Can you yell me why?🙏
dude you just save my life! lol nah for real thank you! also can you make a video about bobbin thread, the tension. My bobbin thread keep popping up on my design and like i dont know how to fix it.
Are you using a thick stabilizer? I had this problem too and the stabilizers really help they're just a hassle afterward to remove when the design is done
I have Stitch Artist 1 and don't have an "image" button to select an image. I thought that was only for Stitch Artist level 3? How are you able to import a .jpg image in level 1?
you first have to click on the 4th icon from the end in the tools bar, then you are gonna be able to see the button on your right handside where to import .jpg
Level 2 can import svgs. Its debatable how helpful that is because vector files are not usually made with embroidery in mind and so have to be modified so much that you may as well have created the outline file in the embroidery software
if i’m reading your comment correctly, it means you’re digitizing different spots of the design randomly. you have to digitize all of the same color at once, then move onto the next color and do all of that color and so on 🙂
Thank u for this video. U r the bomb Brad. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this! Also, a quick question: how can I get my images to open up like u did with ur pikachu image? I have Embrilliance essentials (but im upgrading to Stich Artist level 1 soon) and Essentials won't allow me to open up jpeg or png files. Do u know why that might be? And will I have that issue with Stitch Artist 1? Was ur picture a jpeg or png? Please let me know. Thank u!
so when youre done digitizing, do you save as a dst onto a usb, plug into your machine and itll show up? also is the only way to use the stitch artist program by paying the $160+ fee or is there an indefinite free version somewhere...
I have Essentials, Enthusiast and Stitch Artist 1, and my magic wand does not react the same as yours (and others in videos). I get a lot of large circles on top of each other. Also, when I use the line and draw, my circles are very large, not small like those you and others show. Is there a problem with my software? I purchased directly from Embrillance.com.

Excellent video. Just getting started with SA1. You explained and executed each step so very well. Thank you.
Thank you for a great tutorial. I have just bought Stitch Artist Level 1. Much appreciated.

Ann.
this has been the best video! thank you. learned soooooo much as I just starting out.

Good video!. This is the first video I have found that explained and showed detail instructions. Thank you.
Your classes are so much fun. Thank you.
I have a question. I want to be able to upload my own Designs, Digitize them and then Embroider them. What Embrilliance program would I need?
Level 1

Do you have a fix for when i embroider a design but there’s a small gap between colors even though they were together when I digitized it.
Such a fantastic tutorial. Can’t wait to try out magic wand on some of my favorite characters!!
Why did you go from fill to satin column? Is there a rule of thumb with knowing when and when not to use either or?
Thank you for doing this video, first one I've seen that explains in detail how to do it. Well done

Does Stitch Artist 1 allow you to make the stitch of a design denser for embroidering?

Color sort. I think its under utility iirc

Can you do copy paste and the run for the outline?
How do you adjust lines at the end for the pull compensation???
Had to send a thanks! Awesome teacher !
Great video!!! Thank you so much!!!
When doing the outline you say something about "doing it the right way". What is the "right" way?
Why when I auto fill, there's a line or an additional fill line that appears coming off the picture I'm using?

im new to this would you say that level 1 is good enough for getting started ?
yup
why when you order it why does it do it like a shipment I thought it will just get sent to you directly
Well now I'm convinced. Thank you for this video, I'm off to purchase level one :D
Thank you! I will be buying this on payday!

Very well explained 👌👏
Thank you sooooo much this was such a big hep for me the tracing part was it for me thanks again!
I make my own digital drawings in procreate is it possible to upload that image into stitch artist to then digitize for my machine ?
yes that’s what I do!! Good luck:)
Can you upload a vector file? Will it make it easier to digitize? Like does the embroidery program recognize vector objects?
Level 2 can import svgs. Its debatable how helpful that is because vector files are not usually made with embroidery in mind and so have to be modified so much that you may as well have created the outline file in the embroidery software
Brad do you have a pdf document on the instructions of this.
Hey Brad. So I always end up with way more number of colors than I have just the same colors repeating themselves. Do you have any advice?
i saw his ealier comment he said that it accept image from online if their png. correct me if im wrong though.
@@jennifercano9465 ahhh I’m sorry I don’t understand

Oh! Really?! Thank you so much!!
Just a quick question, which is better or are they the exact same? (same features, etc?)
Did you delete the video of the rolling stones tongue?
got DMCA'd
@@EllicottCitySewVac any chance you can send it via email or other way?
does level one allow me to digitalize my own images? please let me know!!!
yes
can you import any downloaded image off of google and digitize it on StitchArtist 1?

@@jennifercano9465 with level 1?
Why does your image say Designers Gallery but you talk about embrillance.
