Sorry as a business tourist...Buffalo has some beautiful buildings and through CHEAP MONEY, there has been some investment downtown. However, a local told me this is kind of a facade: job growth is minimal and people arent flocking here )(even for the Roswell and MandT jobs)... there is so much visible blight. I like the city but lets face it...there aren't many people coming to live there who aren't locals.
It costs money to rebuild housing. The city has bought houses and has put 300,000 dollars into each one to rebuild them. But the city has had to take a loss in order to resell them to low income families for 70 to 80,000 thousand a piece.
Please tell me of the houses that you're referring to and I was raised up with plumbers and electricians and Carpenters one house doesn't cost $300,000 to build
