As a native american I 100% appreciate the representation.
Spirit is the classified figure that I have been most excited about...really made me take a second look at the classified line as a whole. How cool that Hasbro chose back in the day to have a Native American as one of the 'real American heroes,' especially knowing the contribution of the Navajo code talkers during WWII. Sunbow showed great honor to this character, highlighted by his interactions with Storm Shadow...a story that's been sadly minimized by the constant focus on Snake Eyes vs Storm Shadow. I had the original figure, but I think I'm more excited about acquiring this classified version, rather than trying to reacquire the vintage figure.

I had OG Spirit but don't know what happened to him. I thought having a Native American on the Joe team was cool and in the cartoons he was a top tier character. I always thought his philosophical battles with Storm Shadow in several episodes were very cool. I swear the character from Predator felt like he was inspired by Spirit LOL. Freedom was pretty cool too--actually, all the Joe team's animal companions were cool.
I'm Native American and the package art is fitting to the character. It's a nice touch. The background flute music and prayer is a little much tho lol. But I can dig the respect given behind it. Cool bro.

I just received mine. A friend pre-ordered it from BBTS and it came yesterday. It was my birthday present 🎁 and being a Chippewa Indian I will PROUDLY DISPLAY HIM FRONT AND CENTER! Love the accessories and the 🦅Bald 🦅Eagle🦅 is beautiful! For once Hasblow did okay. Wow!

I got this figure last week and it's one of the best in the series so far
I love your reviews and love your videos, they take me back to a simpler time in my life when all the people I loved were alive (RIP Dad, Grandpa, Grandma, and my sister Nattie). Back when my Grandpa would pick me up after lunch from pre-school and take me to buy Joes, Transformers, and Thundercats and back to his house to sit and watch cartoons. Or
My Dad taking me to get Joes after doing good (I always made sure to be a good kid because I knew good things happened when I did) or my sister when she worked at Gold Circle (a US Department Store in the ‘80s) where she’d use her discount to let me get Joes and stuff. I miss those simpler days of my youth. Your videos take me back to those days with a smile. This particular review is great and I can’t wait to go home and open my Spirit which came in the mail yesterday evening.
I always loved when Spirit and Storm Shadow would fight in the old cartoon. They both had a code.

Agreed, it's a vast improvement over the original 1984 release of the figures
Especially considering they'd done some improvement on Spirit's facial features, making the Native American characteristics look more pronounced

Well if I recall a friend of Black Eyed Peas member and fellow lover of toys Taboo, made the artwork for the box of Spirit. I'm glad I got two of this figure one to remain mint in box.
Everyone else on RUclips that reviews this figure gets goofy and dumb as hell with it but this video is the most proper in every way. Many props for creating an appropriate video. The outdoor setting was perfect :)

I just received spirit in the mail today. He's absolutely wonderful! I only have one concern. I was changing the wings on freedom and one of the holes for the ball peg is a bit tight. When I went to remove the wing I noticed a stress mark on it. I shaved a bit of the plastic off in the hole and I'm very careful if I do change the wings again. I believe heat may remove the stress mark from the ball joint hopefully? Love your video btw! ❤

I want to thank you for your comments at the beginning of your video. About the packaging, the supposed Native culture being used. Your comments were poignant, real, not at all demeaning and said with umost class and respect! My Grandfather, Grandmother, my Aunts and Uncles, and my Dad were all full blooded Chippewa Indians from the Bad River Tribe. We have been proud to be Indians, Natives, or whatever the SJW's claim we want to be called. After all they know what's best for cultures that they know nothing about. Sorry, but being told that when I wore my Washington Redskins Starter Jacket, downfilled, so WARM! in the winter was a disgrace and disrespecting to Indians that seemed to be a bit , um, well idiotic? I wore it with PRIDE! I loved to show I was an Indian. I wore it for pride and love of my culture. Elimination of that teams name, as well as the Cleveland Indians? What did that accomplish? Not a damn thing! Yay, SJW's who feel guilty for their ancestors killing, maiming, raping, and destroying our culture, but you saved us by getting rid of the Redskins. How can we ever thank you?
