Most figures I’m buying are usually black cause I love all my heroes and villains who are not black, but it’s time for my peoples getting love. Absolutely love it. Spirit is my favorite Joe of all time and I've never seen anyone give him and more specifically Native Americans this homage in the Joe world. I agree that it's a great time in fandom that we see more diversity in our heroes.
Love the kitbashing that you did here and thank you for sharing what figs you used some I recognized and some like the Billy the kid fig I did not so that was helpful. One good head sculpt that I recommend is Marvel legends The Shaman from the Alpha flight pack. Before there was a Spirit fig from the classified line people were using the Shaman head sculpt as a way to get their own version of him made up. Again love the creativity and what you did here!💯

Nice Squad. Definitely highlights one of the benefits of the Toy Only or Toy First line. The multimedia thing can work well; but there's something to be said for focusing on cool design/sculpt coupled with a wide array of phenotypes. It can be a satisfying play/collecting feature on a broader scale, however choosing the lead(s), ensemble, protagonist (s) & antagonist (s) and representing something beyond an IP can take on an entirety different function for some. Obviously this can be (& is)done with any line to an extent but works especially well with a cleaner slate.
Dope set up. I’m building my own native bunch as well. And thanks for mentioning that Taino blood. A lot of Boricuas forget that we part native cause of it too. Palante !!!
Been doing that with the Bo Katan and Sasha Banks figures. Bought up a whole bunch and just making a badass bunch of female Mandos. I liked the Billy the Kid idea and I found one on ebay for 30$ after shipping. I have a couple movie Scarletts and Lady Jaye that I’m gonna mix and match. The Moonstar head looks good, will probably try to repaint it and add those eye stickers that FwooshRobo suggested .
I understand completely wanting figures that represent my background or heritage. Being Chinese, I am limited to imports and very few releases like Shang Chi. I never made a specific Asian display. I may at some point. I used to only display and group my figures by franchise and factions. Then I went to DragonCon and I started treating my room like a giant comic convention. I now have all of my figures mingle like a bunch of drunken Cosplayers. Just because the rest of the world can't always get along, doesn't mean my action figures can't.
Remember when they unvieled this figure and people talked crap about the box art and what's his name from the blacked eyed peas. Now those same people are saying it's the best figure and buy horses to go whit it. Great figures and video sir keep putting out that good stuff you do sir.

Love the video and the great custom ideas. I was kind of surprised you didn't do a bash with a Marvel Legends Forge. The Marvel character is native and has a red bandana as well. If you're looking to add to the ranks of that crew Forge would be a solid option. I would duplicate some of those, but some of the fodder you used is pretty pricey these days. Anyway, keep up the solid work.

I've only been watching your channel for like 2 months. My best friend knows I like to kitbash and customize so he recommended your channel. I have to say he did not let me down. Your videos and your creativity are phenomenal!!! Im as blanquito as can be but im Guatemalan/Puerto Rican so there's people of color on both sides of my family (genetics, go figure). Anyways, yo . . . I almost cried watching this video. You did something so positive and great. Some people forget that Mayan, Aztec, Inca, Quimbaya, Chibcha, etc.(should I keep going? 😆) are all native Americans too. I know your message was 'people of color' but it is awesome that you chose native Americans to carry that message. Beautiful team you put together. Big fan bro 👊🏻✌🏼

Nice Squad. Definitely highlights one of the benefits of the Toy Only or Toy First line. The multimedia thing can work well; but there's something to be said for focusing on cool design/sculpt coupled with a wide array of phenotypes. It can be a satisfying play/collecting feature on a broader scale, however choosing the lead(s), ensemble, protagonist (s) & antagonist (s) and representing something beyond an IP can take on an entirety different function for some. Obviously this can be (& is)done with any line to an extent but works especially well with a cleaner slate.

Been doing that with the Bo Katan and Sasha Banks figures. Bought up a whole bunch and just making a badass bunch of female Mandos. I liked the Billy the Kid idea and I found one on ebay for 30$ after shipping. I have a couple movie Scarletts and Lady Jaye that I’m gonna mix and match. The Moonstar head looks good, will probably try to repaint it and add those eye stickers that FwooshRobo suggested .
I understand completely wanting figures that represent my background or heritage. Being Chinese, I am limited to imports and very few releases like Shang Chi. I never made a specific Asian display. I may at some point. I used to only display and group my figures by franchise and factions. Then I went to DragonCon and I started treating my room like a giant comic convention. I now have all of my figures mingle like a bunch of drunken Cosplayers. Just because the rest of the world can't always get along, doesn't mean my action figures can't.

Awesome I like it and something similar. One character I did was ML Thunderbird head on ML Nuke body. Also ML Thunderbird head looks good on ML Hurcules body/w paints.

Love the video and the great custom ideas. I was kind of surprised you didn't do a bash with a Marvel Legends Forge. The Marvel character is native and has a red bandana as well. If you're looking to add to the ranks of that crew Forge would be a solid option. I would duplicate some of those, but some of the fodder you used is pretty pricey these days. Anyway, keep up the solid work.
