apparently the the champion of cyrodil is too since he would be the "great prisoner of the dragon god" aka your character from Oblivion who is freed by Uriel Septim, Dragonborn Emperor, and defeats Jyggalag aka Sheogorath. The god of madness would totally have slipped into a video game and literature through musings of madness in the zeitgeist. XD
Nick V he wasn’t talking about the last Dragonborn but rather Uriel Septim, since he was a Dragonborn due to the fact he came from the septim dynasty and by extension the line of St Alessia
Ihackz911 He still misheard/misread that bit, it said "great prisoner of the Dragon King" which obviously refers to the Hero. The post was also edited after my reply, originally it was the Dragonborn they spoke of and misquoted the above as "great prisoner of the Dragon God".
This is fantastic. The author does a great job of creating the feeling that there is much more to this that we are and never will be privy to. I'd love to read more from them in the future
The entity that was not identified in the footage was probably from the Fire god, the fungi and crystal creatures flee from it which could suggest that the Fire god is one of the stronger deities.
They're not dead...well, most of them...a good deal of them were working in tandem with robo-bros to save people. That element of this SCP is really neat, tbh.
This scp perfectly embodies those times when you watch an epic climax battle of a long-running, multiple seasons, anime series that you've never watch. Like, you're completely out of the loop of everything that has been leading up to this point but the imagery of the battle itself however just fully engages you in that you can't help but continue to marvel it all as you also piece together the little tidbits of dialogues from the characters. Fantastic honestly 10/10
I can't be the only one that noticed a BLATANT Elder Scrolls reference in this SCP. I mean, it directly brings up Sheogorath, and references the shivering isles, hero of kvatch, and septim dynasty.
"Ey. You know how theres a bunch of evil gods around?" "Yeah?" "What if we summoned them all to the same place and let them fight?" "Hm. How much for a ticket you think?"
You know, I never really thought about it but what IS that smoke in the corner? Looks too wide to be a cigarette. I guess they could be burning documents, but why in every lecture? WHAT. IS. THAT. SMOKE!?
One physical files for bigger scps have been uploaded to the database, we then print one page documents with only vital info. This include the containment procedures and description. We then burn the physical files and then we begin printing the documents and placing them in their corresponding partners.~Sincerely, The Administratior
7:48 Complied and compiled are similar, but one makes sense in context and the other does not. I realize these are years old, but it helps one who is reading to be informed of when a mistake occurs. (I'm enjoying the effort put in to actually read through these, the atmosphere made is wonderful, the mis-speakings just detract from it and break immersion into the scene being crafted for the listener.)
So basically a massive love letter to Lovecraft as a whole, cool, this definitely feels lovecraftian, and the creatures & phenomenon are all unique and compelling
Scp, Lovecraft and Oblivion are the the things that i love more and combined omg. Knell Elder Gods because Sheogorath, Prince of Madness as allready own because he is inside each of us.hahahahaHAHAHA
So, basically this is SCP was a battleground for gods who constantly go to war with one another in an attempt to control the universe and alter it in its own way. And, if I wasn't mistaken, there are four of them in this case, yes? So... does that mean that Warhammer 40k is somehow now connected to the SCP universe?
damn posted the wrong comment i meant to say in one SCP story old empy himself appeared in the SCP universe f upped a bunch of church of the broken god members that were trying to resurrect the void dragon he even had a sit down and told the only surviving SCP agent of that mission about the future or atleast in the emperors own words a possible one the 40k we know and that empy approved of the foundation but wished they deal with some of the world threat levels more severly and permantley
Four gods with minor gods and entities serving as soldiers under them and a bunch of other gods and entities who are have decided that they will fight for themselves, for humanity, observe the war, or like Sheograth fight for shits and giggles. From what I read and understand we got pangloss who basically trying to save as many humans as possible, some kind of tech warriors and the foundation saving humans and that mist god trying to keep the war contained?
I love SCP's like this, where it's some sort of event, or has some really awesome expedition logs. This is the kind of scp that would make a fantastic movie or game.
@TheVolgun This was awesome! I love your work as always you are an excellent voice actor. Just a suggestion for future videos to add a bit of spice. I notice you addlib in a couple places and that's great! More of that! Maybe questions from the audience or reactions to what the speaker is reading might be a good bit of flavoring. You already do such a great job to make this feel like I'm at a scp conference panel/class rather than just a dull reading. Thank you!
Thanks - I always planned on doing that exact thing, I just don't want to over do it as it could potentially get very annoying for some people! ... maybe i'll find a good way of including a little more flavor. I'm always trying to think of ways to improve my videos so I appreciate the feedback!

@@sbraypaynt But he read a religious text. He just read what was written. Also that's like literally the entirety of Lovecraft's writing: he describes things you really can't imagine
@@sbraypaynt lol. Welcome to cosmic horror. Imagine the unimaginable. Inagine that feeling you get in a nightmare, now turn that into a "thing". Describe in great detail something your brain fears because it can't understand it in the first place, because it has no conceivable detail that a human can percieve. You just know its not right. Describe that. Cosmic horror is a neat concept but gets meh pretty quickly when you want something from the story other than suspense. Thats why cthulhu is popular, there's an actual pay off. When its done right its great but it's usually a category for lazy or 2 kool 4 skool writers tbh. Or in lovecrafts case, partially mentally disturbed. As all artist who are worth their weight.

There were skies that burst open with a downpour to drown me alive
But the world took a spark like a match in the dark and the fire brought me to life
So I'm fanning the flames to climb so high 'cause there's no other way we can stay alive
'Cause we're burning bright as we all unite
And when it's all said and done we'll shine like the sun so don't let the fire die"
Sorry this took so long - my internet is having a lot of problems at the minute. I'm trying to get it fixed. Hope you enjoy this! - More content very soon!
Kiss me
Doesn't matter when it comes out. I'm still gonna enjoy it :)
TheVolgun It's fine. Remember: Quality over Quantity =)
TheVolgun what's your opinion on the eternal skeleton war?
take as much time as you need. We love your vids
4 goats spin around as a goat ball, forever spinning into goat hell
I like the skeleton war and the shredded cabbage god
Pangloss is awesome. Robotic and eldritch, but benevolent.
"Sheogorath remains, ruling his kingdom of two faces until he himself brings its downfall, only to be stopped by the Great Prisoner of the Dragon King" Was not expecting a reference to ES:Oblivion today, but I got one.
My Lord Sheogorath is participating in this farce of a fight?
apparently the the champion of cyrodil is too since he would be the "great prisoner of the dragon god" aka your character from Oblivion who is freed by Uriel Septim, Dragonborn Emperor, and defeats Jyggalag aka Sheogorath.
The god of madness would totally have slipped into a video game and literature through musings of madness in the zeitgeist. XD
Gray The Odd "Great prisoner of the Dragon King" the Hero of Kvatch, not the dovahkin. The rest is quite true though.
I didn't expect to see Elder Scrolls fans here lol
This is fantastic. The author does a great job of creating the feeling that there is much more to this that we are and never will be privy to. I'd love to read more from them in the future
[Question from jr reasercher [redacted]] Are you sure nobody was transformed into sweetrolls
CHEESE FOR EVERYONE
*Long winded rant about time being a human construct*
Its stanley! The talking grapefruit from passwall!
Somebody stole your sweetroll?
That bully from fallout was
Happy to see Lovecraftian creations in the SCP universe
The entity that was not identified in the footage was probably from the Fire god, the fungi and crystal creatures flee from it which could suggest that the Fire god is one of the stronger deities.
Not sure why, but the way he says, "that was obviously written by a child" at 13:27 is just so funny.
Me: "Being an MTF soldier would be cool!"
Volgun: "6 LAVs, full of armed MTF soldiers, are basically dead."
Me: "Never mind!"
(Btw, great video)
Basically they as expendable as D-Class
@Gaming Dude Guns don't help often enough, you know.
I think I’d rather be “dead” than “basically dead”.
They're not dead...well, most of them...a good deal of them were working in tandem with robo-bros to save people.
That element of this SCP is really neat, tbh.
SCP says trans rights
"Ey. You know how theres a bunch of evil gods around?"
"Yeah?"
"What if we summoned them all to the same place and let them fight?"
"Hm. How much for a ticket you think?"
You know, I never really thought about it but what IS that smoke in the corner? Looks too wide to be a cigarette. I guess they could be burning documents, but why in every lecture? WHAT. IS. THAT. SMOKE!?
Researcher Miller likes cigars

CHEESE FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!
WABBAJACK!
*TURNS INTO CHICKEN*
Sometimes, I *dream* about cheese~
;)
'The Mad Mountaineers' is a genius name for the clean-up squad.
I love it when D-Class personnel compile their clothing rather than complying with orders. Someone send 513 to Montauk and get 514 in here.
Was that English?
AzureVoid Não, não foi inglês.
Rico Sandard So now you have a summer project.
Hittin' that cult leader diary like a slam poem my guy
I can’t believe you actually did Daleport! One of my favorite scp’s, sounded amazing, just like always!
Care to use nerf gun if necessary?
damn posted the wrong comment i meant to say in one SCP story old empy himself appeared in the SCP universe f upped a bunch of church of the broken god members that were trying to resurrect the void dragon he even had a sit down and told the only surviving SCP agent of that mission about the future or atleast in the emperors own words a possible one the 40k we know and that empy approved of the foundation but wished they deal with some of the world threat levels more severly and permantley
THIS IS HERESY!
*_EVEN IN DEATH I STILL SERVE!! FOR THE EMPEROR!!_*
You by far make the best SCP readings of any youtuber I’ve watched. Kudos, hope you continue the fantastic work.
I love SCP's like this, where it's some sort of event, or has some really awesome expedition logs. This is the kind of scp that would make a fantastic movie or game.
So many years have passed and so far Volgun's depiction of Rev Hoshor is the one i like the most. Great props to you Volg!
Conclusion, Skyrim with mods in real life
@TheVolgun This was awesome!
TheVolgun I'm sure you will find a good medium. Again I love your work. regardless of which direction you choose, keep up the great work.
My brain can’t imagine what a fractal shaped organism is or what a triradially symmetric cybernetic organism looks like
I would love to see some illustrations by the author
But that;s the point that you can't really comprehend them
@@fedorkochemasov4533 then how did the supposed in universe SCP scientists reviewing the footage describe them?
It's really not that hard. Look up 3d fractals, and triradial just means it's symmetrical every 120° around a center axis. Like a triangle 🔺️.
I saw a bowler hat, I'm watching
Sir Red I like hats
Who is this bowler hat dude?
I'm done Pangloss, I think.
🔼 man is Nathan Estep
The organism: Tries to leave the store to escape triangle-face
Triangle boi: “Here, let me help you with that. *YEEET”*
Huh what's dr bright doing here?
Did Mr. Rogers win this?
Brother Malachai in a blood-stained sweater.
23:16 Djrr, The Dark God of Lamp Posts.
I love lamp.
*sighs opening a dictionary*
Same tbh.
For what, exactly?
Isn't that why they're getting a dictionary? To expand their vocabulary?
It was "motile", wasn't it?
Simpleton!!
Lovecraft didn't die;he crossed over into the dreaming worlds, and left his dark creations squirming within our brains.
What's with the Cthulhu'n entities and Messing with Brits?
They don't like tea
New England is in the US....
lovecraft was really into the idea of Anglo superiorty
What can I say? We're GOO-magnets.
Do you know where new england is?
Wouldn't it be cool if the other entities who were helping were foundation members from different points in time
Maybe some were.
I'd love the background droning music, its really soothing..~
i agree. i like listening to these before bed.
So many years later, and this is still my favorite SCP.
Cthulhu but everyone died so it ruined the plot
spencer davis what
spencer davis not everyone died, a lot of them got saved, but they suffered memory loss and don’t remember what happened
so your standard game of Call of Cthulhu then.
Call of Cthulu but every player character was Old Man Henderson
Old Man Henderson?
The official report says the torsos in front of the library appear at 19:42, which is 07:42 PM in military time. The floating body is currently 57m above ground zero.
Absolutely one of my favorite SCP’s
The SCP Foundation is only Gravity Falls in a nutshell
Sounds like Daleport has a bit of infestation going on.
Is nobody going to mention the fact that the shivering mist might be a cowboy? Yeehaw at the end of his message
Imagine the face of the 05s when they realise some anomalous lovecraftian entities do their job better than them... Also, it should be a given that the whole Foundation ran out of popcorn in the process of compiling the information regarding this incident. Good times.
This is one I always love coming back to. I mean how do you even fathom the aftermath of a fight between a bunch of cosmic beings?
13:12 Uh oh... "The lava" sounds like someone with an accent would say, "larva." But a child would miss-hear it as lava... Oooohhh dear...
I love this SCP. It’s far in a way one of my absolute favorites.
When Gods fight, whomever wins, he lose.
Unless it's Tim. Tim's s good extradimentonal horror.
Very good quality writing. A lot of SCPs have mangled attempts at officialese and sound a bit masturbatory, but this one nails it. The feeling of intelligence behind the report makes it seem more real and so scarier
Absolute Lovecraftian Masterpiece!!! Well Done, good Sir! Well done.
Every once in a while i have to come back and rewatch this video as thanks and as a refresher. This was the scp that started my love for the entire scp universe. For all the weird and wacky things to all the gruesome and horrible things that haunt you for days and all the things in between.
It’s no 049 video, but I’ll take this as my birthday present regardless! Keep up the good work, Volgun! :)
Happy Birthday to youuuu...
