This was so fitting to hear on the palace near the end of the game, Bitterman´s kill ratio was pretty high at that point, the man singlehandly ends a war lol
True, he blew up the big ship killing “big gun” that prevented more reinforcements to drop, deactivated a strogg factory AND killed their leader. Too bad he gets captured in the end. Not that quake 3 is canonical but he makes a an appearance but is cyborg’d out. I like to think that despite carrying out his mission he still gets captured, tortured, and even stroggififed. BUT his actions allow the events of quake 4 to happen. I guess Viper and Joker play major parts in Q2’s story, but I think the only time Bitterman is mentioned in quake 4 is by a marine on the Hannibal, telling of “a lone marine” that kicked a good bit of ass on Stroggos before the 2nd invasion in Q4
The Quake 2 soundtrack was the best and hardest music I knew, before I knew anything at all about metal. And, later, this track was one of the first that I worked out by ear and learned to play. Still an awesome track!
Kill Ratio sounds like a sick 90s supervillain team.
