I got this since their China launch and I can say that the GPS need a few workout to pair properly. Initially I'm only getting 1/2 bar, but no issue with outdoor tracking, however the GPS signal getting stronger after a several outdoor use and now I'm constantly getting 4 bars.
Thanks for the review. In my country, this has been sold for around $80 no warranty but I could find Amazfit GTS2 Mini with official warranty and roughly the same capabilities for just $68. Kinda hate how Xiaomi took their time for this. Still using Honor Band 5 which is still quite capable but I guess I'm gonna upgrade to Mi band 7 later for around $36.

Thanks for your complete review. Here in Spain I have purchased the global version and it has Alexa, but no nfc, and mi band 7 counts the steps better. Smartband 7 pro always count bad the steps walking. I go to walk about 5km and the device shows around 2,5 km. Another thing is that it has no emojis and no applications icons on notifications. Do you think will be in the future a firmware that fix that or better a sell it and stay with mi band 7?

Reviews of the Mi Band 7 Pro are almost meaningless in the West until the October 4th launch of the Global Version. In fact, the Mi Band 7 Pro is just now receiving a major update. "A few days ago, Mi Band 7 Pro received a software update that added Vo2Max, sleep breathing quality, support for interval training, and a few other bits and pieces. We speculated that this might be in preparation for the international reveal." Once the Global Version is available we should get a much better idea of how good or bad the new Mi Band 7 Pro is...till then it's obviously an unfinished "China only" product missing functionality and needed updates.

It's notorious that this watch does not sync with the new MI fitness app. Manual sync is needed, otherwise no steps or activity is ever recorded. Please, don't buy it unless it's confirmed that the watch syncs with the app, everybody is waiting on an update for many months now. Awful support.

It's fine connecting with the mi fitness app but the watch can't be paired with the zepp life app and Zepp app. I created a mi account, but my activities doesn't sync the activites on both the Zepp and Zepp life app. Tried loging in my google account on both zepp apps and my data was transfered from my other smart watch. I hope you have a fix for this. Kinda suck if I wont be able to transfer my data to strava. Thank you!
My Mi band 6 would never stay connected to the app. The Mi band 2 got me hooked and it's been downhill ever since, so need to wait and see before I give more money to China

1 feature which this smart band is lacking installing third party which is really bad. I wish it could get but for now its not having. Well a new update of Xiaomi smart band 7 is that it can now download full flashed apps and 50 apps have been already developed

Mi Band is made by Huami, and my guess is that 7Pro is made by 70Mai. So I am not sure if firmware updates will be that frequent.

You can configure "High Heart Rate" alert and "Lowe heart Rate" alert.
Also - per workout you can define zones and make them alert you.

The Global version is here already. I can confirm that GPS is fine, the band is more or less a smartwatch at a low price. No NFC though...
