Really like Ilya she first female blader in burst with her own unique bey and was fairly strong and smart as showcased here a shame she just kept losing in the later half of the season.
I feel like people forget to mention that Bel went 2-4/5 against Lui and you could even say there was more loss’s than that! Lui and Free showed this series why there still the GOAT’s. Put them on the equal playing field and she will wreak house.

Because he’s the mc who acts like the majority of the fandom
After doing some actual research, so people can't contradict me for it, NO, what happened with Belfyre against Lui was NOT Hyperflux. That hasn't been seen before or since Rise. In fact, after Rise, it was dropped all together, apart from Dante and Dragon, which makes sense as they come from that era. But Hyperflux is basically not a thing anymore. His bey turning 'Gold' was just an anime visual affect to show that Belfyre has reached it's peak with upgrades. No more room for more, and what was added are all good enough to not really need replacing.
As for the reactions, we can really see Bloom's bias here. Bel did not just suddenly pull a win out of his ass at the end. He was doing what Lui wanted him to, for one. IF Bel was going to use the L Gear at all, considering it is inspired by Luinor, it makes SENSE that Lui would want to make sure that Bel would use it to it's fullest. So, he actively chooses to battle him repeatedly to train up his use of it. Bel actually DOES some training for once, and Bloom just brushes it off like it never even happened.
YES, the power scaling of this season is all over the place. As someone who doesn't usually take such things seriously, I don't really mind all that much. But seeing as you all do, here's something to keep in mind. With the L, F, S and V gears on, Belfyre has a major advantage, being that it's like facing multiple beys at once. Luinor's overwhelming attack, Fafnir's stamina and reflection, Sprizen's deflection and defense, and Valtryek's speed make for a deadly combo. Which makes you wonder why no one else has done such things before? My answer.
Pride. Pride in themselves, in their beyblade. And in the fact that their bey/gimmick is the best. Whenever Valt upgrades Valtryek, he always has a few things he brings over. Same with every legacy blader in this series. For Bel, while he has that pride, he also has the advantage of seeing his losses in a different light to most others. The second one is that his own bey's gimmick IS the ability to 'evolve' it by adding additions. When I first saw Belfyre, I always thought it looked a little 'bare'. Once the gears begin getting added, it makes sense why.
Bel's whole stick is 'innovation'. Innovate by creating a new bey system. Get defeated? Innovate to overcome the problem encountered. It's how his mind works. Valt's stick is training from the bottom to reach the top. Aiger's is overcome all with his bond, light or dark. Dante's is that he's a team player, getting little bit of help from his teammates. Hyuuga and Hikaru's is that when separated, they are powerful, but when working together, they become a difficult wall to break through. Bel may not be a 'traditional' blader. But he learns more from his bey battles than most of the previous protagonists do.
Well, I'm happy some people liked my mini essay. Only shame is I didn't get to discuss it more with anyone.
Only thing that annoys me is not that Bel is upgrading his bey every second but rather that no MC did that before. They trained to get better. Bel doesn't. Why didn't the last few MCs just do that after a loss?

@thereallasagna3186 Power scaling has been screwed for a while with all the gimmicks from Turbo onwards. Lock blockers in Turbo that only a few had, same with Rise. The Limit Break system in Surge which was also limited to 3 beys. It just doesn't feel that way because it happened later in the season. Bel is just working smarter, and only training when he needs to,because that's who he is. The other protags got by on hard work, because it suited their style. But even then when they hit a wall, they innovated.
As someone said in the comments of the stream, Lui gave Bell all the L’s he should have gotten. 1 against Lui of course, 1 against Free, 1 against Shu and 1 against Valt

tbh this season got me so mad, but at least when Valt gets Ultimate Valkyrie Lg. V'-9, hes actually good again and actually only loses one battle (and even in that battle, he doesnt get bursted at all). Valt with Ultimate Valkyrie actually has no recorded bursts at all in the show 🔥 My goat would never get burst by fodders
I keep seeing comments here recommending future card buddyfight and yes I agree! Last time I heard the card game itself is already discontinued but there's still celebration for its anniversary, but the anime is really good and exciting! Although yeah there were mixed opinions for the last seasons, I still think it's a good watch especially the first 2 seasons
Speaking of card game anime, I recommend Shadowverse too mostly because of Shadowverse Flame. It's still on going but it's on the final arc so we're close to the end

19:37 this was the ONE THING I really really hated. Every other attack has been somewhat realistic with physics imo. It's been like that since S1 but this move breaks everything. You can't do it irl, it makes no sense, and it ruins the "rule" burst set for itself.
A much more appropriate way to achieve Guilty Smash Irl is to Have Luinor drop down on the bey from above like an eagle, likely from a Devastating hit, Interstellar drop set or upper deck or whatever it takes for beys to fall down onto each other
For the last time Bell is not copying bro. To copy is to literally do the exact same thing as someone. Bell is just applying pieces that resemble traits of certain beys but it acts in it's own way. But how you act, if I had my own youtube channel and decided to put on a durag, am I copying you now?

This is honestly more natural than you'd think, but it's something that no other character has done so far so it's throwing people off

Bloom I'm gonna put this in the nicest way possible without even letting my usual reaction youtuber dislike bias through. Get ready for a long yap session. Hope you'll take time to read it though
You don't have a basic understanding of the show at all. While some of your critisicm of Quaddrive is valid most of the time you are just being biased. Your problem should not be with Quaddrive itself but with how the later season have gone in general. However your reaction to Sparking/Surge shows me how much you don't really understand things. Seasons 1,2, and 3 are by far among fans considered to be the most solid with some even saying only 1 and 2 were valid. I myself like seasons 1,2, and 3 the best by far. By the time we get to rise and everything after though is where the show really starts to have MAJOR problems. One of the main problems in in all seasons after season 3 was how the pacing in the story went. You could make the argument that it started in season 3 with people talking about how Aiga progressed way too fast however that is nothing compared to later protagonists and how fast they progressed. At least Aiga struggled even after he got to the top it wasn't just a predictable linear path. However every protag after that starts showing major issues in the fact they don't actually work to earn anything and they climb to the top super fast and there's no real payoff that part is a glaring issue. My problem is you can't just say everything is plot without having a real justification for it. Bad Writing is what is evident here not plot. Without plot a story doesn't progress. I really don't understand your criticism of Bell when the other protags of Seasons 3 and beyond really have the same issues. Not every protagonist was gonna be the same Bloom. You don't need to have every protagonist follow the same story that Valt did of making his way up from the very bottom. Lain did all the same things Bell did just in a Slower amount of time. I really think you're only upset because the charachters you like are getting beat. While Quaddrive DOES have bad writing it still has in-universe explanations as to why things happen the way they do. Sparking was monumentally worse than Quaddrive IMO for multiple reasons. The only thing Quaddrive does at times is be boring. Sparking/Surge completely neglects multiple aspects of charachters. However YOU LIKED Sparking possibly even more than Turbo as you said. Sparking has multiple problems with it a lot would be too much to list here. Some of the main ones would be 1. Lain and Free never having an actual rematch battle despite Lain Vs Free being what kicked off Surge to begin with this plot point is never brought up again. 2. The twins not actually having ANY seperate accomplishments against the legends. 3. Just Lain in general even though I like his charachter 4. The tagteam battles being skimmed over to make room. Just because Bell doesn't follow the norm doesn't mean he's badly written again there's in universe explanation as to why Bell is as strong as he is. The problem you have is with the Series Writting not with Bell himself the protagonists before Bell had the same issues if not equal than even more Glaring then Bell's. However just because Bell started off OP it doesn't equate to plot as not every protagonist went through the same things nor needed to be written the same way. This comment is starting to get too long but i'd be down to discuss more with you and answer any questions or rebuttals you might have to debate.
