This is nostalgic, man! The Metal Saga was, is, and probably forever will be the best saga of Beyblade! I never collected the Beys, but playing them with my former neighbors after school, whether battling or racing, was so much fun! The funny thing is you'd think the sparks when beys hit one another are a bit much, but Beyblades exist irl and when they hit one another, they do occasionally chip metal pieces off one another.
Back when Beyblade was at the height of its popularity, there'd even be cases where a bey would get blown to pieces upon first impact simply because the metal disks got overstressed.
Beyblade was hardcore both in the anime and irl.

Thanks for the memories man. For reference there are 4 types of standard Beys: Attack, Defense, Stamina, and Balance. Attack have raw power normally going for a stadium out. Defense hope to wait and out last their opponents by having the waste their attack power. Stamina types are built to dodge and just last long waiting for their opponents to east their energy too. And Balance just have an equal stat in all categories. What would you want in a Bey Attack, Defense, Stamina, or Balance.

I never had to watch metal in my childhood. just watched it like, last year-ish? I really liked metal, and a bunch of arcs about it, which is great he's reacting to it now.
I hope he also reacts to burst too cuz I think burst is fire asf as well. I think it's better than Metal, but Metal is so good as well.
