5:59 brought back some memories. As a small-town kid who moved to Fairfax out of college in 1987, I fell in love with one of Fair Oaks VFD's (at the time) rigs. It was a huge white with blue stripe truck with a prominent "21" and a jack and ace of spades on the side. Don't remember what its function was, I just remember that as a kid who grew up outside a town of 1300, used to our 25-year-old clapped-out third-hand fire engines at the VFD because that's all we could afford, to see this massive brand-new super-clean shiny white-and-blue beast with the fancy paint job blew my mind.

Units that turned at the intersection went to a working house fire units that turned down the other road were going to a 1 acre brush fire
