VA-TF1 Mobilizing for Hurricane Debby
RELEASE ME AND MY SON AND LET US GO HOME!
When i was a McD's manager back in the day (already Navy firefighter trained) i had a fryer fire. Dumped a drt chem extinguisher in the fryer and the stack. Knocked it down before FD got there!
What in the world is a RIT TF? Most departments assign an available company to be RIT(RIC)
A RIT Task force is something dispatched to every working fire in the county, on first alarms, the fourth due engine is assigned as the RIT team, however the RIT Task Force is sending additional units to the scene including a medic (for rehab) and a light/air unit to fill air bottles. Think of it as backup before calling for a second alarm
Oh no!! Not Popeye's!! That's some dang good chicken. Hope all were safe.
Good work with the video!
Thank you!
When was the record date. Plus, I had no idea that station 37 had a light and air unit. Nice catch man
This video was recorded, edited, & uploaded on the same day (a first for me lol) 11/23/2024

Cool fire scene!
You'd think fairfax would install an emergency light signal at these stations.

YOOO awesome catch!
Thank you!
Just out of curiosity, did this engine formally belong to another department that was absorbed into Fairfax County? I only ask because it's a totally different color than the traditional county red and white.
This truck is owned by the Centreville Volunteer Fire Department and is operated by career staff. Normally this engine runs as Engine 417B but is filling in long term as engine 417 while the frontline piece is out of service
It wasn’t absorbed it’s part of fairfax county’s volunteer program
Almost every volunteer department in fairfax has apparatus colors that are totally different than county owned ones.
east coast sure seems to like circus wagons.
Stupidity people are not even allowing to pull over? Dip shitty drivers, lights, flashing them means responders to a major fire or something.
Great Video!
Awesome Catches!! any idea when the new tower will be in service?
Sounds like any day now, talked to the driver who was filling in at 441 and it sounds like its getting some work done but im not 100% sure
@@1602FirePhotography One of the firefighters told me that the engine of the tower had to be replaced. So the delivery to the station was delayed. It may take a while before the tower goes into service.
@EmergencyResponseChronicles thats nuts, but ig thats paccar for ya
@@1602FirePhotography I know.
Awesome Compilation, I love to see FD's from Fairfax, Northern VA, Maryland,DCFD
Big nice Maschines
Question: Do you know if Stafford Fire station 14 (Garrisonville) is busy?
I have no idea
It is fairly busy
1 Falmouth 2 Stafford 4 Mountain View (mostly just the tower) 9 aquia harbor and 14 Garrisonville are most of our busier stations
Hell Yeah brother I work for 508 YVFD
Nice catch!
cool
Nice catch!
Thank you!
Nice catch!
Thanks!
Wow, that new station looks awesome. Of course I say "new" because I'm not quite sure when it was constructed. I lived just down the road from here on Radford Ave from 2008 - 2010, and that was *definitely* not the station there at the time. So new relative to me I guess. I knew that looked like Route 1 at the end there. Funny story, at the time there was a car in our neighborhood whose license plate was "RTE1SUX." Truer words never spoken.
The new station was completed somewhat recently (within the last 2 years) so its quite new
I wonder when the NEW Tower will enter service?
Our task force 2 left today from Virginia Beach to help out the same areas from Hurricane Debbie
New camera?
Not yet, just a slightly fogged phone camera lol
@@1602FirePhotographyyou decide what your getting?
@catsemergencyresponse i have not yet
I live in Charleston, SC. NOT at ALL looking forward to the rain; it's already started, too. Shout out to these folks volunteering their time & resources to help out all the people here who are most certainly going to need it!!
Nice! Where is the hazmat support?
It wasn’t on this call
Cool shot of the DCFD E20 responding!
