I grew up in this church in the 1970’s when Dr. Criswell was only the second pastor in 100 years. I have thousands of wonderful memories of times of worship in this beautiful building. The current pastor and I were in Sunday School together as high school seniors. This is a devastating loss. I am heartbroken. Praying for healing and recovery for them now. The fire is very suspicious.

I agree about this being suspicious. Europe is apparently dealing with desecration of churches all the time. Their poison is spreading over here in other ways....so this wouldn't surprise me, either. As for the 'sham' comment...when you comment in public forums, it's often like casting diamonds into a sewer...you don't wind up with sparkling sewage...you just end up with besmirched diamonds! I know from experience...

I visited the church in 2008. I sat in the seat and prayed. Very sad a home for thousands. My prayer is with you all.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
