LET ME KNOW! Have you played Fallout New Vegas before? THANKS FOR WATCHING & HAVE A GOOD ONE! *My bad on saying 2011 in the video I meant 2010 when Fallout New Vegas came out, that is an oops on my part.*
My favorite video game of all time. My car license plate is nuvegas. The choices, the dialogue, the real world locations, the factions, and it’s basically playing in an old western movie with cool weapons make it to me the best. Also, I have visited Goodsprings several times to grab a beer ang great food.
ngl I HATED the tutorial stage that much it pissed me off to the point where I didn’t carry on playing the game and never even played Fall Out 4 because of it… even tho I bought it 🤣
I appreciate the honesty, that’s a bummer to hear as it’s a great story. The tutorial is super short on this too and even optional. 😅 Though it won’t be for everyone, so no worries in the end.
@@MrHoodieJones I just don’t know what it was just hated trying to shoot the wasp things, just seemed to never let me actually shoot them for some reason and never made sense to me so just sacked the game off 🤣 I thought number 3 was alright, put a good few hours into that game
Same here. The tutorial is awful and I'm about to play something else. I can't find some stupid plants to collect because the UI is rough, and it crashes often.
a lot of games are still enjoyible from 2011, one being dark souls. 10/10 game. sadly i never touched fall out and i hear this is the best if not the best to start in general. i know the lore just have the game sitting in my libary for the longest time
A lot of the old RPGs especially still hold up. I haven’t gotten around to Dark Souls yet, only souls-like I’ve played and I did enjoy it was Sekiro. It’s never too late to give it a shot. Trust me I have that feeling with a lot of games I’m slowly getting around to.
Yeah, great point! Knew that, but didn’t know really how much longer I wanted to make the background section of the video going into the creation of Obsidian and why they were chosen. So left it out, making it shorter for people. To reach the review portion a little quicker.
Oh! If you're referring to the Reputation graph that was shown (4:55). That can change depending how you interact with a certain group or faction. It has different ranges of what the groups will call you and how they will treat you when you encounter them; so choose your actions wisely with certain groups. Hope this helps on making sense of it.
@@MrHoodieJonesYou can bring up speech and barter with charisma at 1, charisma is a lot less important than in fallout 1 and 2 unfortunately. In my current playthrough i have it at 1 and I am able to do the same things as I did when I had it at 6 or more, just have to put points in speech.
From what I briefly read- I think you can play New Vegas IF you have PlayStation Plus Premium as it’s on their streaming library. I don’t have a PlayStation to investigate it deeper. Hope that helps & good luck.

I haven’t played any of the fallout series, but it looks quite fun!
Another hoodie absolute banger 👏 can't go wrong with the fallout games!
even without mods this game can crash sometimes but it still a decent computer game

@FellyOnYT Those are hellacious to kill! 😅 It's awkward to shoot anything without VATS, I can understand the frustration for sure.

For clarity this game was made by the same people who made fallout and fallout with fallout tactics

Also this game didn’t start off well it toke a long time to get to where it is now but with time and having dedicated mods made this game better
this may be a stupid question but im thinking of getting the game when you put the table of the ranges and stuff I don't really know what that means
No worries, but could you specify on what you mean by table of ranges? Or timestamp the part that trips you up?
@@MrHoodieJones yeh no problem the time stamp is called factions and reps

@@MrHoodieJonesthank you that really helped
Playing it and 3 for the first time. 😊 best of all the dlcs are dirt cheap.
charisma is a dump skill lol, you should put that as 1
It’s my go to. 🤷🏻♂️

Can I play this on ps5?

Correct. It's only available via ps+ and streaming.
Oh okay thanks that sucks though I really wish I could play it. I've just decided to start fallout and am currently playing 4
Also no dlc for ps5 users very sad
Get a low end PC, it's a game from October 2010, it will runs on a potato at 60 fps.
VEGAS!
Does a bear shit in the woods?
That’s one way to put it. 😅
