Do you like to wrap or keep your food unwrapped. Which camp are you in?
Depends on the amount of time I have on my hands. If I have time, unwrapped definitely! If I'm pressed I'll wrap to push through the stall then go back to unwrapped. Beef ribs are always good if done right for sure. Good cook.
Unwrapped. Better bark. Easier.
Fantastic looking plate ribs Kevin! Man, you were killing me while cutting into those bad boys! I literally almost taste them!!
Smoky Ribs BBQ thanks Rus. One of my favorites just wish they did not cost as much.
Great looking ribs! And that wet sound as the knife went through the meat got me hungry right there!
LOL they were good. Just wish they didn't cost so much. Thanks for watching.
Great cook looks awesome love your channel
Marlon Ward thank you very much. I really appreciate it.
Great cook Kevin. Beautiful finished ribs. I cook the plate ribs 6 - 6.5 hours unwrapped on my Silverback. I dry brine for 24 hours prior to the cook.
I’ve done brisket rubs, specialty salts and just plain salt and pepper. You can’t go wrong either way.
You were spot on when you said they’re one of the easiest things to cook.
Looking very delicious
Perfect beef ribs, fantastic smoke ring! :-)
Thank you very much. it is pretty awesome when they come out really good.
Dude those babies looked awesome. The very second spring comes to Minnesota I'm breaking out my Lonestar and doing two racks of those! You're killin me 😂
Texas 2.5 BBQ thanks a lot. I would do these more if they were not so dang expensive.
Awesome job! I trim the silver skin completely off too...
What The Fork Pitmaster BBQ thank you very much.
I did a 5.6 pound rack of beef ribs a few weeks ago. It was about 85 degrees outside. They cooked in 4 hours! Still tasty even though they cooked too fast for my liking.
TheSkilledKiller I bet they were good. Thanks for watching.
Nice looking ribs. I'm ready for some of those again. I can almost smell them from here.
Smoking TarHeel thanks Lee. What’s ribs cost in your neck of the woods?
@@TheHollarBBQ It seems like I got them for about $42.00 for a rack that size. It was at a local hispanic butcher shop. They have pre-marinated flank steak that's so think you can almost see through it. 2 minutes each side on a hot grill and man some awesome carne asada.
Lookin good! Just did some on the PBC just the other day... Mine weren't as meaty as yours, Wow!
Tom Horsman thank you sir.
nice cut
Mike dente thank you very much.
Another great video Kevin, thanks! Quick side question: where's the best place to eat/drink in St Helens?
Thanks man. Our favorite place actually shut down. Landlord issues. But if you want a really good burger go out to a place called the Yankton store. It is a store with a little side restaurant in it. Awesome burger. We dont really have very much to choose from. There is a good place down at the river called Dock Side. Hope this helps. You coming to St.Helens?
@@TheHollarBBQ Thanks Kevin! Yeah, I'm here now with some work colleges. I was looking at The Hob Nob Brewhouse. Any good?
*work colleagues*.....lol
@@jpdunning oh yeah I forgot about that one. it is good.
@@TheHollarBBQ Thanks for the recommendations Kevin - we went to both places and they were both excellent!
Great looking ribs. Knife set is over priced though.
Thank alot. It is a little expensive but it is a good knife. My favorite is Dalstrong knives. Thanks for watching.
Where is the knife made?
Wayne Swicegood I can’t find where it’s made. Most likely it’s made in China with Japanese steal. Thanks for checking it out.
