This song adds SO much to the emotion of the moment. Such a shame they left it, and all the other songs from the musical out of the remake. I can understand wanting to put in new works, but there's no harm in keeping a few old good ones too!
This song fits my exact situation now, I recently just moved to Illinois with family and at first I thought everything was great, until I went back home for vacation, it reminded me that my heart and home is in Florida now I'm stuck, this song really brings a tear to my eye now, I just miss home so much. 💕😢

I remember not recognizing it as a song from the movie, but my sister did mention this being a Beauty and the Beast song so I just accepted it as an extra song. It wasn't until years later that I figured out it was from the Broadway version.

I went to a really shit all girls school who didn’t partner with a boys school for musicals and the musicals were so low budget and horrible. I wanted a role so I did it anyway. I could sing better than probably everyone there and had a higher range for belle but yeah I was big and most of the school were Vietnamese so yeah I stood out a lot. Pretty depressing times.

Part of your world from the little mermaid would also be another good auditions song, you could go through the soundtracks of other princess/Disney musicals and find the less commonly popular songs from the same character in the same musical too, but this would be a good song, maybe add your own personal touch to it, hope you get the part!
