Great phone and amazing pictures. I just have got mine in yellow color - it looks stunning! Leica Authentic color profile looks exactly like Leica Q2 camera colors
Now this is a good camera review. Might take a while to adjust the settings but I think people should learn their apps more just to be more creative with their shots and not just always point and shoot. Considering more phones are adding fun camera tricks and modes, like Sony Xperia 1 V's Creative Looks, iPhone's picture profiles, Vivo's Leica look and Oppo's Haselblad style, learning to play with these should be a plus, especially since these are feature rich flagships. My friend always takes his time to choose his settings and picture profiles before taking his shots on his iPhone 13 Pro Max. Smartphone photo experience might be mostly point and shoot now but these modes definitely makes them more fun again. Definitely recommend to play with your settings before taking your shots.
I would love to see a review of the camera grip accessory as well which I think is perfect for cinematography using an ND filter. Xiaomi really thought through the process well. Hopefully they'll bring back the quick aperture toggle in a future update.
My thoughts: The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is one the best camera smartphone this year. Well, the rear cameras have one of the most versatile camera set-up because of it has 2 telephoto cams and a variable aperture on the main cam. Also I would like to mention that, Xiaomi will improve the software experience, hopefully. The selfie cam thought is kinda a letdown, especially for a flagship camera phone. Hope that will change for the Xiaomi 14 Series next year.
Although it's an entirely different smartphone there might actually be some hope for those who want to use 4k with the front facing, as Oppo pushed out and update to the find x6 pro to enable it. Hopefully Xiaomi takes note
Aside from the common complaints of them getting rid of the quick swap aperture and UI at the top disappearing when turned off, my main complaint would be lack of options in 50MP mode, I really wish there was a way to change aperture, modes and add HDR in 50MP, I imagine this is more of a software than a hardware problem seeing as a lot of flagships do this yet a GCAM version 'fixes' these and tends to work. Also the HDR mode being off or auto is quite sucky
I love the way you present this video. I feel like listening to my friend who shared his experiences and concluded it with his own thoughts. That's insightful. Thanks!
Love your video content and subscribed! Love the fact that the 13 Ultra includes a 75mm f1.8 lens which is the perfect focal length and large aperture for portrait with nice bokeh in the back without the use of the artificial portrait mode. Wish you have covered more on this area since most of the time, we are taking photos of human instead of just sceneries.. Could you share more on this area? Btw, looking forward to the announcement of the 14 Pro next week!
Pleasant format with your feelings at the T time. The glass that covers the 4 cameras can be used as a mirror for selfies and 4k selfies videos but it is clear, this 4k front is terribly lacking in order to no longer support criticism, however justified at these price levels. I hope 202"4" will bring this "4"k front for their future ultra. And yes to finish Xiaomi must optimize its camera interface for better ergonomics (focal aperture, HDR, portraits) as you said.
Daniel I really liked your explanation I think I understood everything correctly congratulations I believe that the ideal would be an authentic mode with HDR as good as the vibrant mode
Many thanks for your review. Dxomark mentiones a delay after pressing shutter to capture the foto. Did you notice this in the quality of fotos? What do you think about honor 5 magic pro in comparison to xiaomi?
i have that phone first, "steady video" settiong is not available in 4k only 1080p. At low light for photos, the camera will use 1/25 min shutter and when i set it to 1/5 in pro mode the photos came out sharp at lower iso. so indoor food for example better not to use auto mode. Overall my sony ZVE10 camera kill this phone for both videos and photos
They should bring back those quick shortcut buttons, but I do like that they added focal lengths to the camera app. 2X, 3X tells me nothing. I would also like for them to add focusing speed adjustment. Sometimes it's better to have a slower, smoother focus shift
But is there a way disable that two main Leica profiles completely to shoot at Normal'ish in default shooting mode ? Why do i have too choose between the two of equally inconvenient pre-assigned profiles ? 😳
I only just started editing raw photos this week and discovered what Adobe Lightroom is. Ever since then I started to care less about what the phone does to the image processing. Lightroom software will out do anything a phone can do.
Another annoying is - when u use motion detect .. u can't run 8K I loved this camera but from Oppo back to Xiaomi.... I realized the MUI not improve much at all.
I like the ultra just because I can do 35mm portrait mode without the black and white filter on. Also, I like the look and materials on the ultra over the pro

For sure. It’s always nice to have additional options when people want to spend time learning photography
Thank you for those additional thoughts. Definitely helpful.
Thanks for the support 🙏

They only sent a few reviewers the camera grip. I wish they sent me one 😭

They def need to do something about the selfie camera!
@@danielsin yes, they are changing with X14 series, but for me this one was everything and sad its still 1080p.

Thanks for your thoughts! Yes, more of this style please.
Thanks for the input!

Yeah I hope they bring 4K to the front camera. Definitely something a lot of Asian phones are lacking.
Frankly, Xiaomi should ditch the front camera & put back a bigger LCD at the rear. For selfies, we can then use all the superb rear lenses !

Hey 👋 thanks for sharing your thoughts!
What do you prefer between Xiaomi 13 ultra and Vivo x90pro plus?
7:41 👏 👏 👏 👏 😊
how about generally as a business user experience for the xiaomi 13U? is it full of bugs and have issues with day to day operation?
i have that phone first, "steady video" settiong is not available in 4k only 1080p. At low light for photos, the camera will use 1/25 min shutter and when i set it to 1/5 in pro mode the photos came out sharp at lower iso. so indoor food for example better not to use auto mode.

I need your opinion which one is better to buy Xiaomi 13 ultra or vivo x90 pro plus ?
Both are good. It’s really up to you. I still prefer xiaomi because of the colors even tho Vivo are better in some areas

What about the raw photos?
I don’t shoot raw so I can talk much about it

@@sleepy1171exactly.
I mean, 14-bit RAW photos sound good, but I don't have one myself so I don't know.
The colors and dynamic range are so much worse in the cinematic mode, what's up with that?
Another annoying is - when u use motion detect .. u can't run 8K
I loved this camera but from Oppo back to Xiaomi.... I realized the MUI not improve much at all.
❤🎉❤ What is the price of this mobile phone?
No one in the comments thinks that Desk is awesome? Its freaking cool.
They are great desks! I don’t think I can go back to using regular ones lol
What's the maximum fps in 1080p resolution in continuous video mode ?
Probably 60? Unless you want it to be slow motion.
Atleast you feed us with real pics not edited ones
do u have video review Xiaomi13 ?
I don’t have the Xiaomi 13
Which model do you think is better, Xiaomi 13 Ultra or 13 Pro?
I like the ultra just because I can do 35mm portrait mode without the black and white filter on. Also, I like the look and materials on the ultra over the pro
@@danielsinwbt teleport macro? The pro has that advantage whereas ultra lacks it
Anyone have experience with this phone in the US? Does it get good coverage?
Whats your opinion? 13 ultra or find x6 pro
I'd prefer oppo
I like the Leica colors but Oppo for better all around camera
@@danielsin I buyed the 13 ultra and I love it. It's are really good camera I love the Leica style and the natural colors
Are the selfies good or? @@luziferhell5768
