Great comparison and I agree with your findings. Having and the pro and the ultra it's a tough choice letting one go of one. But I'll sell the Pro and get the photography kit for the Ultra . It was a real pleasure meeting you Jermaine, I hope you liked Gent 😁
that shot of you trying to get the shot over the water get me worried. 03:25 also the images you shared are amazing for sure. I wonder if the Global version of the Ultra is different than the China version. eitherway great video sir
Whuahahhaha, hey you got to get the shot!^^ slippery? Yes 🤣 but all part of trying:D and thank you man! Also thank you for checking out the video! For the difference, the person that allowed me to use the 13 ultra did say small changes, but most noticeable, no google pay and some features related to google.
i just came across your video and channel. i like the in depth explanation! i'm fascinated by xiaomi 13 pro/ ultra and vivo x90 pro cameras! i have been an iphone user for so long, currently with 12 pro and unsure on which to go for with xiaomi 13 pro/ ultra and vivo x90 and pixel 8 pro
Thank you! Appriciate it! And the difference between vivo and xiaomi is mostly that Vivo does brighter, less dramatic shots, but the xiaomi 13 pro/Ultra go for more of a contrasty photography look, more what you would see on a camera.
@@ThroughJermainesLens thank you for taking your time to reply and engage with us too! i really appreciate it. are there major differences in camera and lenses when it comes to 13 pro and 13T pro phones ?
no problem!!! And for the 13T and 13 pro they do have a different approach in feel, dynamic range can be slightly better on the 13T but I feel that the feeling of photography is better on the 13 pro, but mainly the supporting lenses are simply better on the 13 pro, I have compared both, and because feeling and preference also is something only you can judge, this might help you a bit to see what you preference is :) ruclips.net/video/-o7vr2zsKis/видео.html @@luv2f10od
Great video again.. It seems to make the 13 ultra feel like it has taken the Mi 11 Ultra and the periscope 5x camera and added it to the 13 ultra without any real improvement. The physical F1.9 - F4 aperture option is the one real upgrade I like but with the Huawei having the true variable aperture, Xiaomi is a little behind and needs to bring this to the 14 or 15 ultra I guess, but it would be even better if the Pro had some variable aperture or two stage aperture for now. I am happy with the 13 pro for all the reasons you give, but I would be happier if the 13 ultra was sold in Europe and had the software specs and computational tuning we have with the 13 Pro. My only real wish would be the option to set the shutter speed in video's like the Sony Pro-i to stop that judder in videos when panning or make moving subjects like water look more natural. But then there is no one perfect phone camera and if there was, it would be much more expensive than we currently have. So for now its a case of waiting for the Xiaomi 15 specs I guess for any possible major updates in hardware and refinements in the software.
I would say it gets alot of the same comments I had against the 13 pro, main sensor very comparable, but the Sony loses to the other sensors, even more so with a better periscope, sadly not enough time to properly compare them as well:( And thank you btw!!!
Thnx another great video , I was originally wanting the Ultra. But I decided to get the 13 pro 512gb version, because of the floating lens. I love doing macri, which the 13 pro does better
Greetings Jermaine, excellent video as usual, you make them as if one of us were you with that passion and joy for Xiaomi mobiles with great cameras, hopefully you can compare the 11 Ultra with the 13 Ultra.
Another great video, Jermaine! Xiaomi should be paying you by now! Fast focus I think will be something most people want for quick family / holiday / general snaps. For someone that is more of a photography enthusiast though, I don’t think that will much a concern. I must say the design of the Ultra is growing on me haha 😄
Trust me, I would love to, but i have no partner is crime, and i am a introvert, so asking people if i can take a picture is bloody terrifying 🤣🤣 and i hate to bother people.

Good video Jermaine! I'm currently wondering if I should get the 13 Pro or Ultra, or just wait for the 14 series (apparently the China launch is tomorrow). Also I read comments saying that 13U's telephoto is actually 2.8x, not 3.2x so when using the 3.2x button on the viewfinder , there is cropping, therefore the quality of the picture may not be as good.
Is there a way to always shoot on 50MP on the 13 ultra ? I somehow find my photos not as good as it should be with the normal settings. They are often shady or not that sharp
Ultra-real optical zoom starts at 2.6x zoom, so it's slightly weaker than 3.2x zoom. But this way the coverage of the zoom is much greater, the ultra only succeeds in macro, the ultra is better in everything else.
Just a question... are you using for this video the Redmi note 13 pro 4G or the Redmi note 13 pro 5G? Because exist a variance between these devices in the camera
Please which do you advice i go for as a content creator. I do alot of videos and need a good phone that can shoot in 4k and with good internal storage space from 256G above. Between Xiaomi 13 ultra, poco x3 pro and Vivo x100pro. Which is best? Kindly help out please
Honestly when it comes to these, and you want to use it for video a lot, maybe look at the Sony Xperia 1V? Now of course the approach is very different, but it has 4k 120fps! for the Poco X3 Pro, that one i would remove from the list. for the battle between 13 Ultra and X100 Pro, I would say that isn't easy because I haven't used the x100 Pro at all, but I have heard amazing things from it. I would say the difference is approach for sure, the x100 Pro has brighter images (and video), but the 13 Ultra is more a photographer phone, a phone that does an amazing job capturing the soul of the shot. I am unsure what you preference has though.
Overall I liked the Ultra shots better, however, that yellow tint in them was very annoying. I wonder if that's mandatory for phones with a giant circular hump on the back...'cause the Nokia 909 also had that irritating yellow tint 😅
