Thank you for your overview of the Dwarf 3. I ordered my Dwarf 2 way back in 2022 and have been overall impressed with what it does for such a small aperture. I will definitely get the Dwarf 3 when it is available, but in the meantime I will enjoy using the Dwarf 2. Things like getting a good image of Makarian's Chain with the weather here in the UK is difficult, but it says a lot about the Dwarf 2 that you are able to do so.
Thank you so much for the appreciation! I hope they make the dwarf 3 available faster and get it sooner so i can also be able to test the new telescope from time and upload a vide review
Thanks so much very informative! I'm going to question your FOV calculation. If the pixels are smaller at 2.75"/pix, but the number of pixels is the same, I think the FOV is a little bit smaller now vs. D2, not a little bigger. Still close to 3 degrees. Excited about so many of the improvements!
I have both S50 and D2. D2 was my first Smart scope. I like D2 for it wide field. S50 for it small FOV when I want close up image and better resolution than D2. Now with D3 coming and it seem like it in between these two. I will upgrade to D3 when I need a wider field for DSO object and hopefully a much much better image resolution either better or on par with S50.
