The problem with No.22 was that the hand brake was left on when they started moving it into the station from the yard. There is a video somewhere on here of it being dragged along with it's wheels completed static. Thankfully it looks like there was no major damage or wheel flats.

Thanks for the info! I thought it couldn't be much of anything as it was hauling services again not long after.

Really enjoyed this video. I'm a volunteer at the NNR and it's bit of a tiring experience on gala days but watching your video was a good reminder of why we do it and I'm really pleased that others enjoy the railway as much as I do.

Nice video Sarah, you just can't beat a bit of heritage "Clag & Kettle" 😉👍. PS: Whoever shouted "Hole in one" as you passed the golf course would have done better shouting *FOUR*. That might have made some of the golfers duck 🤣.

Who ever heard of Steps? Could be a Chain Reaction in the comments! That pun might be a complete Tragedy! 😂 Also at 6:40 the 'coaches' painted in the London Transport maroon livery, that's a Class 438 or 4TC (Trailer Control) which were used on the London Waterloo to Weymouth services. They ran on 3rd Rail as far as Bournemouth but then operated in push pull with a Class 33/1 Crompton to Weymouth as the line wasn't electrified at the time but is Used by London Underground for special occasions.
North Norfolk Railway is a Railway I do need to visit and looks like there a good Varity of diesels and steam locos on the day, great video.

Oh god the awful puns 😂 Thanks for the info about the Class 438! I'm always learning new stuff! I really do recommend the North Norfolk Railway. It's excellent. I still really need to visit the Mid-Norfolk as its been on my list for a while!

Hi Sarah, just enjoyed watching your video on the NNR...aka The Poppy Line. Very well done. One small suggestion if I may, you need to speak up when filming around loco's as it was difficult to hear what you were saying. 🙂
I found your channel quite by accident as it followed on from a friend of mine's video about the Watercress Line in Hampshire.
I have now subscribed to your channel and will be watchin in future. I too have a YT channel, "Modeler Man" aka Barnston Camp Junction...If you feel like it give it a look...many thanks.
    Take care,
    Jon B.

Hi Sarah. Unless I misheard, I thought you said that this was your first visit to the NNR, yet you posted several videos featuring the NNR last year. I have an N gauge model of Thunderer in BR blue. I also have a TT:120 model of Sir Edgar Elgar (previously name Hercules) in BR green. Lieutenant is pronounced "Leftenant" in the UK. Is Brian the rabbit or your partner? I hate that nickname, Gronk (yes, I know you didn't invent it, but still... What ales did you try?
