In a world full of SUVs I’m glad they get to stare at the M4 carbon roof when sitting at red lights .

Black wheels would have looked much better with all the black accents everywhere, but either way, it's a great car to drive, which is the most important part!

Normally I'd agree. But this actually looked super cool with silver wheels. Nice to see a bit of a change lol

After driving both auto and manual, which one would you buy for yourself?

Haven’t been in a manual M4 yet, but I’d buy manual! Auto is fun though as well!

My worried is about the turbo in long term. Not being a rich guy able to change the car every two years I'm evaluating to get one of these and owned for at least 10 years. Nowadays high performance means to push a small engine to its limit with one or two turbos. I'm wondering what is the lifespan expectation with this stress technique. Instead of the old school and long last V8. This simple fact is making me to hesitate to purchase this or a V8 (almost in phase out in the market). Any advise? or experience to share?

The S58 is significantly more reliable than the old V8. That old V8 always had issues. These seems exceptionally reliable especially for a 500 HP performance car. Should hit 100k with no issues as long as you maintain it well and let it warm up before driving hard.

I tend to favor 4 door M series sedans. This is good too. I wonder how long they will continue with gas engines

I doubt they will stop. The demand for EV’s was just a government push, sales of those have declined. Many automakers are now switching to hybrid or some other form that includes gas.

Isn't a sunroof available in the LCI?

      I believe that’s an option.

Just go for the M440i with sunroof as standard.

@manofsesame3024 good point ......wish that std m440i looked as aggressive as M4 competition xdrive does

      @@manofsesame3024 it’s a no cost option though.

It’s available for free, but why choose a sunroof if you can have a carbon roof? Looks amazing in person, and the last time you could get one was when the M3 still had an V8 engine (and that was still the best M3 ever).

It doesn’t look like a 93k car. The front is just pure ugly. Fire all BMW designers

I like the front end design! Definitely a car worth the price!
