- Daniel Baise, founder of TOUCHCO entered the Tank seeking $60K for 15% equity stake in his technology company that sets out to revolutionize the way office space are set up - instead of the standard computer structure, this would be replaced with an interactive glass screen, allowing transparency throughout the office.
An international sensation, Shark Tank AUS features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Tank from our Sharks, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

With so little interest by others, I’m out.
This dude has a damn prezi presentation
Elementary school presentation program 😂
@@patrickaspern158 The product he was selling??
@Tony Kaider Chill out man. No one said anything bad about anything this kid offered, just that it was done using a software that grade school children use. Learn to laugh at yourself sometimes. Im sure this kid will once he gets to college and actually starts to learn how to do professional presentations.

so?
Shark tank US: verbally abuses the shit out of you and makes you a offer.

Instead of telling the kid the technology already exists, they sent him on a journey to find out for himself. Very good 👍

Mate, don't act like you could make the product he did.
He’s literally just showing how a basic smart-whiteboard works where the projector displays the screen and you can use touchscreen on it. Had them in schools for over a decade.
Two decades, actually. I remember the demos from the early 2000s and actually trialling it. Wasn't bad, but a whiteboard marker is a lot more reliable. 20 years later, we're still using whiteboard markers.
They knew it probably, but what's the point in talking shit over the show, the best course of action was to encourage him somehow, and they did it with brilliance, all positive........PR
Christopher Rule These episodes are YEARS old though.. If I saw correctly this was 2014 or 15 and I looked this up and others he's killing it! They have it for mobile, computer, pad..
ღSwnsasyღ _ the episode may be yEARS old - but the technology is still 2 decades old. Any current successes with this runs entirely on novelty.
He probably shouldve wait til he was 24 years old and create an actual invention.
It seems that Australia is 5 years behind in technology...
multiply that by 3.
5!! Gosh they are behind from everything, its their policy not to think above n beyond
Raf Huss except gun policy
What are they talking about? Australia are just as technologically advanced as Britain, USA, Japan, and Germany etc. There is global trade and an equal level of technology across the “western world” with technology experts and inventors from all countries including Australia. This is just a kid who wanted to do something cool as hell instead of play video games or something. People are idiots.
This episode was broadcasted 4 years ago...
I appreciate that they decided to bankroll expanding this kid's view of technology by sending him to CES, where he would see major companies working on the same idea he had. It's a super polite "You're not ready yet, but we can help spark your creativity so maybe we can invest in a different concept from you later."

They love to see young kids having a go at business and the fact they respect that and don’t overly badly treat him but more so like a young adult is amazing.
Kevin would of offered him the full amount if he agrees to drop out of school to work on it full time.
Many youth have successfully left school
Eamon knowing Kevin personally, he would NEVER encourage a young man like this to drop out of school, IN FACT he would make the kid guarantee he will still stay in school.

I don't understand how he can patent this, it has been around for at least 10 years. There are several YT videos showing how to build one of these.
@KonaGaming And I can see that reading and understanding simple sentences isn't your thing. Just think about what you wrote, it will come to you. lol
KonaGaming get rekt
The only reason he would be able to patent it is because it’s his own invention within his own business
@@infinity2538 I really doubt this is something he has invented. I'm almost certain he has seen a DIY guide on the internet and just followed it. The DIY guide would give him a list of electronic parts and how to assemble them. It would also require additional software he would have to download. He just doesn't look like someone who has the ability to design the hardware and code the software.
The bigger question is: Is this kid totally clueless on how patent law works (he's only 14) or is he some kind shameless grifter who gets on national tv trying to sell someone else's invention as his own. Also having idols like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs is a bad sign (both men known for stealing other people's intellectual properties and hard work).
the comment i was looking for hahahah.
i was also thinking the same thing. this kind of tech has already been patented long ago.
"We'll call it the shark scholarship." Man I love the old man in this show❤
I love how into it Steve was. From the start they were all interested but Steve automatically looked at it from a technical standpoint and was so impressed. Even if he didnt get backing, to impress someone like his is a real compliment.
A “Shark Scholarship” I love that... bless their hearts and they’ve definitely blessed that kids life.... He’ll make it BIG!!
The kid reminded me of myself, so have to thank the tank for giving him that scholarship! That sort of gesture is quite impacting.
Kinda sad that people are talking shit about Australia but like this kid did everything by scrap and no one I seen has point that out

A window running Windows
Dis kid sure rocks, but i already had this “smartboard” when i was in school.... in 2008.
Ruben Rutterkamp yeah the technology this uses is old, he talked about a pc in a window but this tech dosent do that thing it’s fundamentally
This and a smart board are very different, a smartboard is directed to a wall, but this is directed to a piece of glass from behind, so it’s pretty much an innovation
This reminded me a lot of myself. When I was a kid back in the 60's, I took an old working TV and removed the on/off volume control and mounted it in a box, extended the wires and had a remote control. I was 7th or 8th grade.
No one gives a shit tho..
I’m so happy they paid to send him to the tech show. An investment in a future shark’s dreams 💙

Very bright little star. Someone should have taken him Under their wings and invested in him.
Greatest gift
I love how all the guys got up to try it 😂😂
This is not an investment show, it’s more like “show and tell” in school. The sharks are not even close to what they should be. They are only after sure things with that require minimal investment
Well that's usually how investing works. Low buy in a high reward is perfect for them
We should expect that the investors use their skill and talent to identify opportunities that others are not able to. They are being as conservative as mum and dad investors in this show. Check out Dragons Den UK and you will see what high calibre investors look like
Well in this case, the fault is on the producers for bringing this kid on, not on the sharks. There is no way he would get an investment
@@gdog7391 Just give the kid money and hope he actually invents the thing? Sorry, this is an investment show not a handout show ;-)

The image part of screens are already transparent and in OLEDs and micro/mini LED the same layer also provides the light, projecting seems very impractical, basically add a digitizer and you'd still need a brain - computer, even one from a phone.

its DVoL yea no shit, my point CLEARLY meaning that he thinks hes solved a cure for cancer and does all this great stuff when all that he talks about is " building a computer" and all he does is put a ram stick and cpu into a motherboard.
