Loved the ending to this episode, very satisfying! I'm excited to see how you plan on shaping the rest of the map going forward.

Great series, I've being trying the game a lot recently and that dam/power generating combo was a game changer

Glad it helped! We're probably going to start moving away from it as a major power generator soon, but I find it's such an efficient design in the early stages of the game!

I have just only started playing this game about 2 weeks ago. Hence why i have watched all your vids an now on the latest.
Anyway when it comes to planing on any map. How do you go about not going over board on any one resorce? Like breading, water, food, wood, wood transfering assets ?? Like do you have a rough blue print on it? Even if its at what point you save to save those little peeps?.
Like your vids but would like to know about these couple of important things. P.S. love the water management it has helped me alot as i have been a muppet in a sense with it. ❤

Now here's the question, are you ever going to increase your population or just keep increasing food production for no reason? You have the food output to have well over 60 beavers and you can easily increase water storage and production with the large water pump and large tank. You also should have gotten wind mills a while ago.

I have been extremely conservative with population expansion, mostly because I find accidentally exploding population too quickly is one of the easiest ways for beginners to game over their save (or, at least, that's been the impression I've gotten from a few years on the Timberborn subreddit). If this wasn't aimed at complete beginners, I would be more steadily increasing the population rather than doing it so deliberately and controlled.
As for water tanks and windmills- that's all coming, but unfortunately I've been a bit constrained by the format of 30 minute episodes. I should probably prioritize some of those things more in the next one, though.
