This is how they used to make traditionally, it was all pure, good & natural in the original days before recently when synthetic chemical making and everything else popped up. In Holi, day before was Holika dehen with pooja & only jowar dhani & khajur & chana.....
Next day with natural soaked flower water with abil gulal kumkum haldi....& mewe gujiye, variali panna, thandai, kheer, laddu, various farsan, etc...
