In my opinion I really don’t think twice has dated seriously. I think the song is really relatable because if you’ve never been in a long term serious relationship it’s hard not to find yourself fantasying about the love you see in media. I think it’s highly relatable no matter what because at some point you want a fantasy type romance but that’s not the reality and it’s hard to know the reality of love if you’ve never experienced something such as a serious romantic relationship

I think some of them dated before though its a puppy love. I think Jeongyeon dated before 😂. Tzuyu, Nayeon and Jihyo are the members who never dated before( they said it during their fan meet and intervoews).

They’re literally 23 or younger and dedicated their teenage lives to their career. They make music based on all their ages. They are never going to do music that doesn’t fit their current image. Which is bubbly happy young 17-23 age peopled music because some of them still aren’t even adults over there.

The scene where we see Tzuyu dress as an angel in front of an aquarium is actually a really famous scene from Romeo and Juliet (with Leonardo Di caprio). That's the moment they felt in love, while both are watching the fish in the aquarium and suddenly see each other. One of the most heartbreaking movie (a Romeo and Juliet really different from usual).
And at the beginning when Sana almost kissed Jungyeon, it's also THE reaaaally famous scene from Ghost where they are doing pottery.
And the scene at 2:46. It's from The Princess Diaries (the cliche of the "ugly" girl becoming really beautiful, and learning she is actually the princess from Georgia. Lol just my childhood guys).

And to add to David's point when he responding to Danny's question of whether adult women (which most of them are) should be singing songs about not knowing what love is and acting innocent when they likely aren't exactly that... just because some of them maybe aren't those people now doesn't mean they weren't in the past. Most people have went through a portion of their life where they start to learn about love and first start to feel love. So even though some of these girls may have already moved past this in their real life, it shouldn't be a problem singing a song about something that they all ARE or HAVE gone through before. It's relatable to all of them (and everyone really).
Anyway, really enjoyed this format for the video with all the discussion afterwords.

I think they are just writing songs that would be relatable to a wider audience.

I'm a 3rd year in college and can still heavily relate to their song! For me the message isn't entirely about relationships but wanting to live out fantasies that are inspired from movies or books.
I've been really stressed about getting better grades and choosing classes for grad school but when I put this song on it reminds me that I also want to travel, fall in love and have corny romantic moments, explore different crafts... I want to do things that make my heart soar!!! I want to feel what it's like to sky dive, surf, hike really high mountains, dance randomly in a restaurant!!!!

Lmao, i agree with that child-like voices. No offence I totally respect each other members. But my friend who isnt into kpop once heard twice audio, and basically he asks me, if this was an audio of a stage play in elementary. Nothing last forever guys, basically this young ladies are popular because of their cute child like concept, but they will literally age and thats why JYP should think now.
This is the only reaction video I've seen where someone had negative opinions on the song/music video. I respect it but I can tell that Danny is mostly trying to generate conversation with some of his "controversial" opinions. It seems forced is what I'm trying to say. Generally the song is well liked and is charting at #1. Most people aren't tired of Twice or their concepts... just Danny and boy group fans lol.

They have scenes from several movies... I can see the transformation part is totally from Princess diaries (a movie I loved when I was a teenager, they probably never watched haha). I can see scenes from Romeo and Juliet (the one with Leonardo Dicaprio) the aquarium part and the angel wings. Haha
I just think it's a little weird because I can see these references because I'm older than them, but people their age or younger would probably not even understand...
Lol freshmen students and teenagers while I'm 23 and just got my professional med.tech license but still i relate to their lyrics 😂. Theyre young too i dont know what is young to your country but 17-23 year old girls are still at their early twenties. Especially in Twice's case where they dedicated their youth to being an idol, train and even be away with their own countries to find their career.
Okay so not a twice stan but i saw this post on instagram about twice's comeback and it said that the song was really bop and they really improved..so i decided to check it out and must say i was really disappointed. What is love gives the same vibes as likey or heartshaker or any other twice's earlier songs. I really had my hopes high this time. And i'm not even complaining about their cute concept. Cute and refreshing concept is very nice tbh and its their identity i guess but what makes me disappointed is that twice songs sounds pretty much the same. Even if you just hear the intro music of their songs...you will know.. its twice. There is no variation in their songs. Same music with little bit of twists and turns. Because of this consistency i think we are unable to really see twice's growth. you have to break your boudaries to improve afterall. Hope jyp works on it!

You can easily say that this is a song from Twice....but honestly i don't know. I would love to see them with something totally different (concept or music genre). Trying something different it's not a bad thing, actually, is something that can help a singer, a group or a musician to grow in terms of experience. Maybe with something different , you could be able to see some skills that you can't see now. Take Momo for example...look at her in Twice's MVs and look at her at Hit The Stage, she's basically another person (another aura and charisma).
Probably is just me LOL but i love to see groups evolving with music . ^^

I wonder when they find or meet with love. Firstly, they cheer up, they say TT and make cute gestures to their never-found bf, they wait for someone who come and knock their heart which could be referred as door, gonna let that one to make "like" on social media, let that someone know secretly that that one is crush, now, they wanna know what is love. I really wonder when that someone would come out and really fall in love.😂 I am twice fan since debut but kinda feel bored with the message that want to deliver to the listeners.
at first i didn't like the song because i think it sounds like heart shaker but i searched for the lyrics and i can freaking relate to it and it became my favorite Twice song, lyrically. Like Ooh Ahh is still superior in terms of catchiness and melody.
But JYP wrote and composed the song so it's not really their experience. Plus their target audience relates.
