I didn't expect to see Austin Evans in my feed on the micro center channel lol, it's a welcomed surprise though, hope you have a good day both Micro Center and Austin!
I didn't even realize this is the Micro Center channel until I saw another comment. I'm happy to say that the Charlotte Micro Center is the first Micro Center I've been to. I hope to see it again when it's not as crowded like it was grand opening weekend. My main fascination was with the 3D filament. I want to buy more filament from there just to play with the rotating shelves. Unfortunately, online shopping will remain my main source for printers and filament because it's so much easier than making a two hour round trip to Charlotte. (One hour each way in good traffic) I just bought my third 3D printer, this one being the X1-Carbon combo. I wanted to buy it from Micro Center, but that $35 shipping was worth not driving to Charlotte.
Went in the Thursday before the grand opening, went back on the day of the grand opening and built the PC I'm typing on. EXCELLENT price for my parts! Got some cool MicroCenter mugs too!
God, I’m about to build a computer and I didn’t realize that the store was already open. I was told by someone that it was opening soon, but I am going to definitely make a visit.
There's worse things to have on in the background when doing dishes than a long form Micro Center ad. Seriously though, when I was Boston/Cambridge a couple of months ago, I made a trek to the Cambridge Micro Center because there isn't one near where I live now. I was happy to see how busy it was on a Saturday morning!
I don't know if Micro Center needs a spokesperson but please always use Austin Evans if he wants to. I wouldn't watch this video if he weren't on it. I'm not talking about just any old youtuber, Austin Evans is the one.
Ahhh Man I saw Micro Center and Austin and I got excited!! No Micro Center in Austin Texas closest one to me Houston or Dallas hours away. Come on Micro Center now that Fry's Electronics is gone we have nothing.
Sucks that Raleigh/Durham didn't get the store and likely won't for the next 10 years because this one is 'close' 2.5 hours away. Even though the tech sector of NC is based in Raleigh (Lenovo USA HQ, Epic Games, Google office, new Apple campus, Cisco, IBM, etc). Literally Raleigh is chock full of tech nerds but Charlotte has banks and nascar? I'm not sure the logic.
I love, love that micro center is expanding and bringing the big box store experience to us. It’s so unfortunate that being able to use different tech in the store and take home same day has to be a hype. That was the standard Best Buy experience 20+ yrs ago. God I hope big box retailers become a thing again, bc honestly, at this point in my life: Eff the environment. I want my brick and mortar experiences again
Thanks for the tour of the store I have to make a whole business trip to visit! I literally have to rent a hotel room then drive for 6-7 hours to get to the store so as Micro Center might consider what some fo us have to do to visit them. So I essentially have to plan a vacation around a visit to Micro Center which my wife loves. I just don't understand them as they are missing out on some great business opportunities by being so elusive. COme on Guys one in Orlando or Jacksonville would make it so much easier to visit nad I am sure I am not the only one wishing you would show us some love!
I have been waiting for years for a microcenter to be somewhat close to me. It has finally happened. I can get to a microcenter without traveling for 5-8 hours
Is Microcenter planning on opening a store in the Sea-Tac area? Prime location would be near the Southcenter mall. Nudge nudge wink wink. I miss being close to one in Colorado -_-
You know what would be awesome? If there was a Micro Center in Huntsville, AL. Aka the Rocket City. Because they're techies and gamers down here that would love your business in a tech industry city.
This place is a few hours away from me i cant wait to see this place in person someday because i do want to upgrade my graphics card i currently have a Intel Arch ASRock it works fine a upgrade is needed.
thanks for this, always wish i have a micro center like from where I am that all in within one store and not 1 mall with so many other stores that i have to run around and compare before buying.
I’ve been recently disappointed with my local micro center. No one at the tech bar or sales people had a clue about the Intel instability issues/bsod…. I switched to AM5 and have had some weird stuttering issues, I got a 7950x3d and their solution was downgrading to a 7900x3d….why would I go from one cpu that might give me the same problem? They have two different sets of chiplets. Not even offer to go to a 7800x3d where all the chiplets are the same? 8 same cores. Also I mentioned going back to intel because aside from instability, the worker said “yea if you go back to intel you might be able to use the 15th gen intel cpu in the LGA 1700” WHAAAAAAT.
Be careful sending that doesn’t know well about electronics in general to buy components for you. My mother went to buy some stuff that i requested in the miami location (the amd bundle, and a gpu) i even spoke via phone with one of the staff working explaining the gpu that i wanted and that i also wanted the 299 amd bundle that come with a asus b650, ryzen 5 7600x and a 16gb ddr5 ram. To my surprise they charge my mom every component separately and even provided the wrong motherboard the b550…… 150 dollars more that what i was supposed to spend and making the whole making my mom buy me the components so i can save some money not worth the time and investment since i now remain out of budget to finish my pc
look, this is a really good deal, $100 off these apple headphones!!!! $444, damn this is a great deal!!!!!!! ............................................................sigh...............
Who is this creapy kid? and why is he promoted? If this is the face Microcenter is trying to capitalize on, I will be avoiding them, as I really did like the chain, but this guy creeps me out
I don't watch this guy, I just wanted to see the store. Also, I wish you guys would redesign the Dallas store. Its way too cramp to navigate and limited in some options because of it.
they couldn’t have picked a better person to tour it, austin always been on top
Linus would be a good one too
i’m so happy to have a Microcenter 10mins from my home here in GA. they really do have a little bit of everything for tech and computers
I didn't expect to see Austin Evans in my feed on the micro center channel lol, it's a welcomed surprise though, hope you have a good day both Micro Center and Austin!
Been watching RUclips since before 2010 and this is a top 5 video for me. As everyone says, I wish there was a Micro Center near me.
Built a PC at that very location with a certain other youtuber recently for a series, that store is MASSIVE.
I had no idea we had a microcenter in Charlotte. I passed by it in shock yesterday 😂 cool video
There is one opening right next to my job here in Miami. Man, I couldn't be happier and excited.

The overland park micro center would have to move locations to fit even half of this store
I'm in south carolina. Have to head over there. When i lived in N.Y. i had a microcenter by me. So happy they opened this up.
Literally stopped in yesterday. It is huge. Reminds me of the old days with Comp USA.
I'm going to be on a work trip in November, and I'll be close to this Microcenter! I'm going to check it out!!!
We need this exact store in Orlando FL PLEASE!
Welcome to NC Austin! :D
This is the best collab EVER!!

I really need to visit my nearest Micro Center!

Typical little brother response. Just enjoy the fact that you don't have to drive to Atlanta anymore. RDU to CLT is an easy drive.
I live 20 minutes away from the charlotte micro center which is really nice
YOU CAN ALWAYS MOVE
Awesome tour! My local Micro Center is a 1.5 hour trip. Fun to visit but haven't been there in years. 😅
This is gorgeous! I can get lost in there for days. 😮

I wish there was something like this in the United Kingdom.... i'd love to be able to see some of the parts i get before i buy them

I can't wait for the Miami location to open. (Should have put it in Fort Lauderdale but Miami is fine too.)
This place is a few hours away from me i cant wait to see this place in person someday because i do want to upgrade my graphics card i currently have a Intel Arch ASRock it works fine a upgrade is needed.
Hopefully I can stop by later this month.
I know Denver was reopened that long ago, but it greatly needs a modern upgrade..
The fire insurance goes up for Micro Center when they find out Austin is coming for the month! jk lol
Skipped South Carolina too man 😭
Has a similar layout to my best buy in florida
thanks for this, always wish i have a micro center like from where I am that all in within one store and not 1 mall with so many other stores that i have to run around and compare before buying.
This MC looks so clean and well thought-out, slightly jealous but at least I have two MC in my area 😂

Who is this creapy kid? and why is he promoted? If this is the face Microcenter is trying to capitalize on, I will be avoiding them, as I really did like the chain, but this guy creeps me out
bro whats wrong with him?
Austin Evans? A big RUclipsr.
I am sure he knows alot more than you do....if he was the face of Micro Center he would deserve it with his vast knowledge.
That's a grown man
TONS OF OPTIONS/BUNCH OF OPTIONS COUNTER = 147 TIMES
I don't watch this guy, I just wanted to see the store.
