I came out of it and laughed so hard i went back into the coma, I’ve never seen or heard of something this funny ever. I live in the UK, and there is absolutely NOTHING like a Micro Centre here. I can't imagine the awesomeness it would feel like to walk down the isles, just..looking at stuff (I probably can't afford).

Well I dunno where in the UK you live but here in York we got a Currys/PC world about twice the size of that Micro Centre, that does a LOT of everything from Freezers and cookers too 3D printer, to MB's, to VR, TV's and Gaming chairs etc etc

One of the most heartwarming videos of yours to watch since you surprised Nic with the Cosmos II tower for his birthday years ago. The funny thing Jay teasing Phil about being a GSkill fanboy is that with AM5 and DDR5 Corsair Vengeance has the tightest timings available and gives you the best bang for your buck.

That was a nice present for such good friends, employees, and colleagues. Their smiles alone should have been installed into one of those Kodak frame sample pictures. When you get a present like this unexpectedly, its hard to make decisions in the moment. But, they did get what they wanted the most. The 3080 founders card was an extremely good deal. Lucky for you, I wasn't in the store before you or I would have bought it myself. Keep up the great videos and looking forward to seeing new content in 2023.
That $530 open box 3080 was such a good deal. I got a new 6800xt for $515 but I would have definitely gotten a $530 3080 instead.
Yeah that's actually insane! I got my 3060 Ti for around 430$. The fact that 3080 was only 100$ more definitely makes me a little jealous! Haha
I got the Yeston RTX 3080 new for $769 with a $200 gift card and free extra large Yeston keyboard mat. I got the next level Up G9 Odyssey Monitor for $750 direct from Samsung. And I got a Samsung Tablet. I received mail order so didn't get the fun of rolling it out in a cart. All I can say is great choices on your sprees! Hope the smiles are still big as you setup and start using your equipment.

But yea, gonna need a new card most likely and I've been told 3060 ti would be a great upgrade. But I've also heard some 3070s have been unstable and shit like that. What do you think about the 3070? And is 2070 super to 3060 ti a good upgrade?

Just save up for year & go ! It's fun walk in have $3,000 spend me this past year & my 15 yr old. Day trip 4hr one way. But having my 5900x and 570-i strix mobo & 32" rog monitor in hand is awesome plus pick use. Keywords mice feel them.
I dont live in a state that has one so we order the stuff online, but if I was one of them I would have gotten a GPU. That monitor looks sick though!

I've gone through 3 Elite 2 controllers. Each one, my RB button failed. The first one had left stick drift. I'm not getting them anymore. I also just got a new speaker bar on the 30th, because my old one is 8 years old. I got the Bose Smart Bar 900 with the 700 watt woofer. It do be boomin' though.

You could have done a LOT better on the sound bar if you went with literally ANY other company than Bose. Bose was, is, and always will be overpriced low end hot garbage. No highs, no lows, that's Bose.
i went through one xbox one controller cause of the RB button broke, i took it apart to fix it and its so cheaply made. my 360 controllers are still kicking. way better quality lol i just bought another newer version of the xbox one controller, a little better made. had it for a while and now im thinking of getting a ps5 controller for the feedback tech.

You sound like someone that just hates Bose, given you just tried to downplay what I bought and had nothing to say about any other product. I haven't had a new system in 8 years, and I'm quite happy with my setup.

I got a 1080Ti FE open box from Microcenter during launch week for $630. It lasted me 4 years. Best GPU purchase I ever made lol.

I started shopping at MicroCenter purely because of this channel, and I couldn't be happier. Got my 7900 XTX on launch day and also got an Asus PG42UQ, returned it because HDR in Windows is broken, and got an LG C2 42. The return process was so freaking simple. The guys there are so nice and super friendly, and so knowledgeable. I really felt among my kind there. This is not even sponsored or anything, but I do like that Jay got sponsored by such a good store.

@@PH13PH 3rd gen is fkin legendary. My brother is still on his 3770k as well, he's a casual and just never had a reason to upgrade. I got lucky that I purchased a 3820 10 years ago and had HEDT upgrade path. Both my original locked CPU and this cheap 3930k have handled 4.75 and 4.8ghz for years! I'm actually really bummed to move on, as my x79 mobo was practically half price compared to current gen :(

The third gen has always been good enough for me for most of the games I play for the little bit of time I have to play them. and it is even still a reasonable experience in MOST games. Looking to upgrade my system but having trouble finding motherboards at the moment. I guess there is still a shortage in that area. And don't even get me started on motherboard pricing! When did they get so expensive?! I will keep holding out and looking until I can find something that is reasonable

the c49g9 is a step down from the full spec G9 being only 120hz instead of 240, but they regularly go on sale as its now a 2 year old model, keep an eye out as prices like the one he got that for are becoming very common as the monitor goes eol.

We used to have maplins in the UK they used to very similar array of stuff. Was around for years but business slowed right down with the new digital era and they closed down many store and now have come back as an online only store
@@Dont-come-at-me-24 The thing, where i live, the only reasonable place to buy, cpu, mobo, etc its amazon and amazon in europe atleast for my experience its not bad but its far away from being good as US, there is a very limited stock and variaty of parts and other eletronic stuff and obviously we cant order from the US because the absurd ammount of taxes and shipment costs, atleast from where i live.
