@@ApothecaryTerry It is not easy at all without a windshield, I went 44km/h max on a proper mountain bike (I had a speedometer to check) To go 50 on a straight way you would most definitely need a faster, lighter bike.

The top speed is not 50 km/h. It's actually 96 km/h = 60 mph. Ostriches run 60 mph when they are chased by predators. In the mean time, the average speed is 45-50 mph. When they run 60 mph, they don't run 60 mph for a logn time. If their chased by tigers, lions, they run up to 62 mph.
