In this video, I'll show you how to get the energy moving in your jaw joints. You can use something like Arnica, Traumeel, or Rosemary Oil to give this exercise an little extra kick!
I’m often a soprano but I have a bad TMD and one of the “don’t”s on the list my doctor gave me is high singing 😭 I’ll have to be an alto until the appliance I’m getting starts working
Thanks Doc! I’ve been having issues for a year now and this is the first time I’ve been able to open my mouth fully open. Will be doing this every day.
I injured my jaw holding it open while numb at the dentist and it has been over two weeks. It was slowly getting harder to open and more painful. I tried this exercise with a peppermint balm and INSTANTLY felt relief and can now open my jaw again. Thank you so much!
Woke up with a splitting headache on one temple around my eyebrow. Figured it was a sinus infection beginning, then it turned into tooth/jaw pain and I thought that my impacted wisdom teeth were finally coming back to bite me. Saw this video and tried the massage and OUCH. I think this may be my problem. Never had TMJ before, but I have noticed a whole lot of jaw clenching stress lately.
I grind my teeth when I sleep so hard I wake myself. So thank you for sharing this and yes 😂 there’s pain when I do this and yes I have a mouth guard on the way.
great video! I noticed my jaw unlocks when i massage almost every time! I use either arnica or copaiba essential oil. Do you have any other essential oil suggestions that might be good for joints? And is the purpose to reduce inflammation o in the joint or to relax the surrounding muscle?
ok so i have what may be a lump or knot just below and infront of the bottom of the earlode. and ive had some dentalopain that basicaly moves back and forth from the back of my jaw all the way to the front of my lower jaw.. there are some issues with the teeth that could be causing and infected tooth. but when i massaged that area earlier it caused pain in the surrounding muscles inmy cheek and upper jaw as well as lower jaw it kind of felt like it may have been spasming. ive had tooth infections before and every time ive had one a single 800mg ibuprofen will knock out the pain for most of the day well this has been coming and going for a few weeks now. but at my last dentist appointment i pointed out to my dentist that my right jaw stays more tense than the left side and some times aches. occasionally when im eating ill get a loud pop on theat side that causes my ear to ring. it doesnt happen often but does happen occasionally. the800 mg ibuprofen only brought it down to bearable levels but i noticed when i touched and massage that area it caused my tooth pain to go away but did cause pain in the areas and muscles around it. felt like it may have cause them to tighten up. does this kind of thing happen with tmj? i took amoxicilin just in case its an infection but my pain has never been this far ranging, usually when i have an infected tooth the pain usually just feels like its around the tooth like the tooth on each side of it but this pain feels like its moving up and down my bottom jaw on the back and while i can open and close my mouth the muscles feel extremely tight, maybe they are cramping idk. i just want your opinion on this before i look for a specialist in my area
Thank you so much! I'm a vocalist and could not open my mouth very much this morning. Already feeling much better. 🎉

That sounds like it could be multiple problems. Best to seek a professional opinion. I'd start with a physician.
Holy shit this thing works
